actually a lot of ppl forget one basic issue.

Car is ship in by Ocean.. so typically for MIJ will take around 4 weeks on the vessel?? longer if from other place.. now one question.. what is the possiblities that the car come in unscratch. i think hardly possible. so confirm will have touch up here and there one.. that is why they always have 2 to 4 weeks to touch up the car mah.

That's why lor....think the AD just bo chap. That ant nest doesn't looked it was formed over a few days. Think they are the rightful first owners of the car [laugh]

Agree, you will be amazed by the claims and number of claims submitted by some importers against the carriers. Those left in the port pending delivery will have windows wound down collecting rain water, badges stolen, tool box, spare keys lost, etc, etc. Even tyre cuts also claim.

richer pple more fussy i guess.. wah u very cool & chin cai lay..

Was quite pissed but I didn't think making a fuss will solve the issue. Moreover don't know what other problems may surface later so want to keep the comm channels open.

I was a bit disappointed with the SE cause I would think that it is her responsibility to ensure the car is fit for delivery.

Anyway, a year later was very disappointed with her when I visited the showroom to collect a free gift and view a new model, as I worked nearby and she remarked: "Come down here just to collect free gift ah?". My impression was that she thought I was hardup for the freebie. Sad. I would rather she had ignored me.

Sometimes too chin cai and people take for granted.

sadly most female car SE was previous Ah Lian so they can get a bit too blunt and insensitive.

Neutral Newbie

Let's all boycott buying VW cars!!! Already the recurring DSG and mechatronics unreliability issues are bad enough

Fight the good fight. You cant fight a tidal wave.

You stand outside VW with a picket to protest and everyone else will be inside drooling at Jettas.

Sorry mate. Its a lost cause. [knife]

Yes, lucky they react fast. [laugh]

For sure, all of us here, maybe by the hundreds, with such infor, would be more 'wiser' going forward. Also, the gossip can spread fast....

This proved that we must always complain and make things big....before we can get the proper compensation and treatment.

I hope the lemon law will spook VW to brush up their services and product.

If not come September.....we will have lots of official complains using Lemon Law.

Sorry to hear that but it is common business practice.

When I bought my house years ago, I complained that some fixtures were not working. The developer went to the neighbouring unit and stripped out their fittings to put into mine. It is all musical chairs to them.

I don't even want to think what has been swapped out or in inside my car.
