Iiiusion 2nd Gear February 23, 2012 Share February 23, 2012 (edited) Although the price difference between Korean and Jap tyres is quite wide, quality wise, I don't think Koreans are that far off. But I'm looking for comfort tyres. Got any Korean brand with something like Bridgestone GR90 ? Take Hankook for example, like only have grippy, noisy tyres only. BoneStock 5th Gear February 24, 2012 Share February 24, 2012 Since we are on Korean tyres, will like to add on to the thread. Hope you don't mind. My tyres are due for change and recently I am also considering which one to go for. My last 3 sets of tyres were GR80, V8RS and K415. Grip - V8RS > K415 > GR80 Quietness - GR80 > K415 > V8RS Next up I have narrowed down to either KU31 or stick to K415. Has anyone used KU31 and V8RS before and can help me to compare the noise levels? V8RS became very noisy after doing less than 20000km IIRC. My current K415's noise level is still bearable even after doing 45000km. Since I have already used 2 sets of Hankooks, I will like to try out a different tyre this time. ALso Hankook's sidewall seems to be rather soft. One of my tyres burst beyond repair and I had to replace it when it was still fairly new.

Dirt cheap compare to my previous GR-90. This price reasonable. I saw a Hankook shop near to Jurong IMM. Not sure if they can give better price. I need 215 x 17.
