And since I'm not in the country when the stock arrived in Feb, told SE to keep till early March when i returned... he told me to send him an email and would arrange for it... However, when I msg him yesterday morning when i came back, he replied he would check, call and update me. No calls from him. i msg him again today and he only told me the stock was given to another customer and I had to wait for the next batch... Jp66 5th Gear March 1, 2012 Share March 1, 2012 Of course you can bang table, nobody will stop you Btw, did you inform SE the exact date you wanted to collect? When is next shipment? If it is next few days, still consider early Mar. Cool down and enjoy your new ride la

Steptronic Supercharged March 1, 2012 Share March 1, 2012 Every AD wants to register the cars ASAP to show their strength. If your collection date was firm and mutually agreed, they could have registered and kept in the warehouse for later collection. It is purely AD/SE's problem. Kelvingoh45 Clutched March 1, 2012 Share March 1, 2012 AD normally will not registered the car if payment is not cleared. But if you had made the full payment, you will have all rights to demand for a good explanation.

13177 Hypersonic March 1, 2012 Share March 1, 2012 (edited) Every AD wants to register the cars ASAP to show their strength. If your collection date was firm and mutually agreed, they could have registered and kept in the warehouse for later collection. It is purely AD/SE's problem. Usually SE would want to close the deal and register the cars, they doesnt really like to wait and wait and wait, esp if the payment already been cleared and COE secured. But since if you request to collect car later, i think SE usually would not register the car first and then kept the car in the warehouse, cause if anything happen to the car, dont think anyone will want to take responsible. Also since KIA cars now selling very fast, any shipment arrived think many SE who have deals on hand will proceed to register the cars. Something based on first come first served. You want him to guess when you coming back is it? He might as well give it to someone who can give a firm answer. Why waste time with you?

Kangadrool Supersonic March 1, 2012 Share March 1, 2012 Reserved is not = allocated. They may reverse out the "Reserved" car as they deem fit 'cos they need to clear stock (FIFO).
13177 Hypersonic March 1, 2012 Share March 1, 2012 I think usually SE would not reserve the car which is not register for you. As the cars available in the warehouse is for any SE to take. Unless you tell your SE to go ahead with the car registration and wait for you to come back to collect the car, then maybe different story.

If TS has made payments, COE secured and delivery date confirmed and agreed mutually, the AD would register the car and keep it in the warehouse. This is for sure in my experience. The point here is what TS wrote in email and what SE replied is greay area!
