I'm intending to get this new iPad. For 4g and non-4g version, apart from sms feature, phone feature and cost, any other difference? Eg. GPS? Any bro can advise?

i am still using the ipad 1 or rather my son is the one using it more often. still works very well. battery still last.

 

intending to get this, not as a replacement, but as a 2nd ipad for myself. I had used both andriod and mac, and I still prefer the mac. More efficient I feels.

Quantum leap forward is not always achievable.

 

To me, Ipad 1 is nothing. Just a big iphone. Ipad 2 was much improved cos of slim factor.

Ipad 3 is just a minor improvement on ipad 2 though RD on an ipad should be great.

 

anyway other manufacturers are still playing catch up in terms of tablets.

Looks pretty similar from the outside, but it is not possible to be revolutionary all the time. They've set the bar high with the iphones and ipods and leading the change in smart phones and tablets

Can see Apple is losing its design shine and start to only improve specs...

But they are still in good pole position bcz they have hypnotised alot of people in the world already.

Luckily I not affected by their Hypnotic spell.

Why buy Apple products and make them richer than rich.

Support other brands.

don't know why ppl expect the design to be different. Spec change is the most important.

Anyway go try a android and a iPad and see if U still think this way. The only reason I go for a galaxy tab7.0 is because iPad don't have 7". The user experience on iPad is better.

This is before android 4.0 thought. Still waiting for a 4.0 tablet to compare.

 

This "I won't buy iPad because I not isheep" is like the arguement girls like to use saying "Beckham is a lousy" player to justify they know soccer.

 

 

I have tried the IOS and Andriod. They are different, but the IOS is not better from the Andriod. If you started with IOS, you will need a wee bit time to get used to andriod and vice versa. So have you tried an Andriod? Could you articulate how it is so poor compared to the IOS? Cmon, you press the Apps short cut and you swipe to navigate for both... how is Apple's so vastly superior?

 

The whole because it is Apple, so it must be really better in terms of usability is WAY overhyped. Such words were the exact words used by Nokia HP users 10 years ago claiming interfacing being better, when the only diff it has with Sony Erricsson is the space bar button when you sms.

 

Specs change is great no doubt, but how does the improvements tangibly improve user experience? I remember Apple being reluctant to up specs for the sake of doing so, because that is the Wintel PC approach... The circle of life eh... now they are doing it.

 

I am a neutral. But I find the Apple fans kinda annoying. When iPhone 4S came out, they say dun compare specs only lets talk about innovation and interface. When New iPad is launched they wanna talk about specs not innovation. Best thing is, most Andriod usershad used IOS, but I cant say the same for the other way rd.

You must support your downstair provision shop and not always buy your grocers from Hypermart.

Fully agree, me too has never own any apple product and no plan for that as well,.. I don't even ownany Nokia phone before, even back to 8210, 8250, era, people say how good, how user friendly, I don't buy.. I buy, Ericsson, Siemens, and even Mitsubishi phone but never own a Nokia before...

 

Even today, im the only one using moto razr in my office and I was the only one using HTC desire before the change...

I using Samsung Galaxy Tab now.. thinking of getting either Galaxy Tab plus or Tab 7.7

if you ask me ipad still offer a better choice if i am going for 10". Tab 10.1 still feel slaggish and andriod do have the problem of speed slowing down after a few day of use, and i have to reboot the whole system and hope that it speed will be up again. (sometime it doesnt.)

 

As for apple fan irritating, yeah i agree. but Andriod fans are equally irriating going to every single tech forum and post in non Andriod device and saying its fail here fail there. they wont even let small little symbian off.

I don't even own a tablet.

I knew 3 years earlier before Apple launches the 1st iPhone. I bought their stocks. But should have hold it till today...should be greedier...
