noted..........will look into it .............thank you thank you.............. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

Based on recommendation of a networking guru within hwz, i suggest you consider the Aztech HW550. the price point is about 99. the link to the review is here.

Aztech HW550

Another one which is my recommendation is ESR 6650 by Engenius. it is made in taiwan. I personally using their wifi n router the ESR9850 which is also from engenius. Personally, i think the solid performance is linked to the country of manufacture here.

If the max bandwidth is 1-2MB would it make a difference whether using a N or G router can improve the performance?

Secondly, I guess those wireless device like Iphone, Galaxy Note, PS3 can't support N Router yet, no?

802.11n or 802.11g will not matter because the internet bandwidth is grossly under what 802.11g or 802.11n can support. However, i do not believe you can find a 3G wifi router on 802.11g now. Btw i think the bandwidth is in terms of Mb and not MB. Mb is 0.125 of a MB.

Galaxy Note can support 802.11n i am sure, so does iPhone 4. The rest you just need to refer to their technical spreadsheet. eh, PS3, you serious?? you sure you bringing PS3 overseas?

Yes I ever toyed with the idea of bringing a ps3 overseas. Imagine three weeks overseas! [laugh]

shopping time liao.............. [laugh] [laugh]

Don't buy first. Let me go and find another one. It is running at higher speed in N network.

Edited - If you don't need 3G wireless router then get Planex communications MZK-MF300N. It's a 300mbps router. Otherwise can consider the tplink or Aztech for 3G.
