Galantspeedz Turbocharged May 1, 2012 Share May 1, 2012 Btw, I wasn't suggesting the higher-end luxury sedans. The furthest I will go is the Audi A4 because I don't wish to increase my expenditure that much more. It seems that I will be stuck with MPVs until all 3 kids are done with booster seats. waste time dun check price dun go try.. how to know ↡ Advertisement
Grix17 Clutched May 1, 2012 Author Share May 1, 2012 4393997'] waste time dun check price dun go try.. how to know I don't understand your comment. I know the prices and have checked out the cars in person or in pictures. Seems like Merc E-class is the cheapest with sufficient space. Maybe Skoda Superb also. Grix17 Clutched May 1, 2012 Author Share May 1, 2012 4393995'] I will do the same when my youngest outgrows her child seat which is taking up so much space. But while I still have my MPV, I am enjoying the slightly elevated seating and better all-round vision of the traffic. I think my Galaxy is nearly ideal for 3 in the middle row or 2+2+2.Many MPVs don't have a decent middle row for 3 actually, especially the Jap ones. Only those with individual seats are good for me - others are SMax, Sharan and Touran. Still I miss driving a sedan.

Width space is one thing, thigh support is important as well especially for long drives if going north is your thing. I guess some bros have already mention the issue of the transmission tunnel for FR cars.

If seat 3 ladies at the rear, the center person will has to seat with leg open wide, wide

I always felt a Stream handles great while seating 7 (if needed in a pinch). I had a long term loaner about 3 years ago and it was agile around corners. Not a tall car as well so your passengers don't get seasick like some tall MPVs. But you'll need to use one of the 3rd row seats as you can't fit 3 Group I&II car seats comfortably side by side. Wt_know Hypersonic May 1, 2012 Share May 1, 2012 (edited) +1 ... big sedan with comfy rear seats EXCEPT for e-class and 5-er the centre seat is sibei not comfy (hard and small piece) and due to rear wheel drive there will be a big blockage (centre piece) tried once with 3 adults in rear seat in a 5-er to genting and the person sit in the middle swear will not join again ever if sitting in the centre even 7-er ... the centre seat is useless ... it's awesome for armrest for 2 Get the wider sedans. Royal Crown, Camry, Cefiro/Teana, E-Class, Accord, 5-er ... sure can seat 5. Edited May 1, 2012 by Wt_know
Aerosmith 2nd Gear May 1, 2012 Share May 1, 2012 7ser long wheelbase might be largest sedans but the middle person a bit not comfortable. almera is surprisingly big for its class, the legroom very big too. honda edix can seat 6 adults but you wanted a sedan... camry/teana/cefiro should fit you better. Wt_know Hypersonic May 1, 2012 Share May 1, 2012 (edited) as long as it's rear/all wheel drive with the gigantic centre piece drive shaft ... forget about sitting 3 adults at the rear be it bmw, merc or audi it's not the brand ... it's the drive shaft going from front to rear for passenger ... camry (2.4) > cefiro (2.3) > accord (2.4) ... japanese car seat is designed for comfy (1st priority) for driver ... bmw > audi > merc ... conti car seat especially front is designed for tight fit and support (1st priority) Edited May 1, 2012 by Wt_know
