Hey.... the comms wire still work nicely between platoon and Company command post....

Not sure if they still do this during outfield now....🤣

The overhead type across main road a bit more difficult to retrieve 😅

I see so many digging around the island everyday every where. 

Just need 1 blur sotong  to create havco.

The last I know it's probably using SS7 protocol. Digital dialing digits, providing dial tone, accessing a voice mailbox, sending a call-waiting tone, etc.

This is for landline. All these are digitally generated, hence there are tons of pcbs used.

The ancient way for a switchboard telecom exchange,  is for lots of operators to sit behind and plug in connectors to connect dialers and receivers. 😀

So it's not just hard wires are used, it's full of electronics that can fail, or a simple screw up, when they try to "upgrade" new software.

Data comms cable die die must retrieve...becos 1206 very sexpensive...talkie talkie d10...just cut and let monkeys use as bridge...😂
