Think late 80s to early 90s, SBC or TCS period. Anyone remembers that show? Storyline mainly revolved his struggles about making it as a ITE student. Story also revolved around him and his buddy chasing a girl in a better school. There will be 2 storey of shopping inside and the shops will be run by students who are also taking courses related to their work. One example is 'Hair Dressing'. If you want cheap hair cut and don't mind the skills of the hair dresser, then go there and let those students who are taking 'Hair Dressing' course to cut your hair. Its a win win situation as the student get to learn & experience and you get cheap hair cut.... They are also training counter staff to serve customers, cook, kitchen helpers.... etc. If there is no training chance given to Singaporean slow learners, then be expecting to see more FW coming to SG to work.. :angry: got massage bo? So campus will look bigger and more facilities. Anyway, i dont understand the rationale why ITE campus cannot be big? Kiario 5th Gear July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 Im speaking from experience sub-contracting the chairs & tables for ITE Simei in my previous job, less than two months after the first batch of students started their school term, the ITE called us to replace some furniture which was claimed to be spoilt but we checked and found them to be broken by vandalism n of course most, sorry its all of the tables already has very ugly n vulgar graffti on them, all these within two months........ i concur with you. my company do send me on courses at polys and ITE, at ITE simei, you should take a good look at the boys toilet i remember the trainer, who is a teacher at the ITE, during the opening introduction, trying to explain to us in jest how, the boys in his ITE got too much energy and no place to use them, so they learnt martial arts, kicked and damaged most of the toilet doors during their closed doors training sesssion. later, the trainer relate to us how his car was ever vandalise in the campus by you know who. it almost seems like he, being a teacher at ITE had already given up on his own students. but he did emphasise that there are students who really put in efforts, and these are the students that keep him going. I dont think so lo, my neighbor have 3 childrens and all of them studied only ITE, but i look at them now all doing qite well.
