hi all, need gurus advice here, as i been driving minicooper for my past 3 year, i never had a 4 door sedan before, but as i need to set up a family. i will need to get a 4 door sedan.

currently i had 2 choice, which is the 528 and s4, but i am preffering 528 as it is bigger, and smaller cc at only 2 litre, and got pick up, and better fc.

any other cars for reccomendation? and is 528 a good car? any major problem, care to share please

Between an 528 and an S4? Seems a strange comparison.

Why not give the new Lexus GS a try?

0-100 in sub 5s territory.

Worthy German contender with Japanese reliability.

I suggest you do a google search on "Lexus GS vs 5 Series" to see what motoring journalists around the world have to say.

My friend drives the latest 528i. Gd performance n fc for such a large car. U looking at new or pre owned?

i am more into pre owned, as i saw alot of 6 motnh old 528 selling at 248k, where as 1st hand is selling at 290k.

my worry is why ppl are selling the 528 so fast, if it is as good as i think, a little worried la, as my 1st car is also 2nd hand and got some problem lol.

but i tink here and there, 528 should be ok, as got warrently from pml. possible to give more review on this car, as i will be driving for the next 3 years at least till i change car, i dont want to keep having problem, very sian 1. as my job require me to travel around some time.

even then, the s4 is more of a competitor to the 335. size and power wise.

If you have budget upto 250k, why don't you buy a brand new 520i or 328i (if you are keen on performance). 520i is decent car and it does 100 sprint in 8sec. 528 is definitely better than 520, but you need to think if the difference is worth for few more seconds that too on our roads with hoggers everywhere....Just a thought.

GS is better in terms of quiteness and possibly on reliability. But, once you drive bimmer, you know the difference. Bimmer is always good to drive around, where as GS is for driven around! Both are winners - but you need to decide what do you want?
