Bimmer is always good to drive around, where as GS is for driven around! Both are winners - but you need to decide what do you want? LS? Yakuza? Previously all the 5 series models from 523 onwards are inline 6. But now only the 535 is inline 6. Why ah? Is the driving enjoyment of the current 528 as good as the previous inline 6 525? I guess it has got more to do with emission. Low CC engines with twin turbo is the way to go..In addition, they have got advantage in Singapore in terms of road tax too. BUT then again now i m still doubting the 6.3 seconds . seriously . edit : oh i forgot to mention . one of the main reason is also for longer gearing n etc etc . definitely not for performance benefits . My last one was IL-6 and now on Twin turbo. IL-6 was very smooth and sounded great.
