Took scoot from SG to Guangzhou and then Hong Kong back to SG.

 

Both ways, there was about an hour delay before take off due to "air traffic". Other planes at Changi didn't seem to have such problems (didn't check for Hong kong).

 

Scoot never pay enough terminal fees?

 

But as it was about 150-200$ cheaper per pax than full service airline. I would still take it again because of the money.

I only ask for decent treatment from budget airlines.

 

If travel delay, they need to put up passengers in a decent budget hotel (clean can already) and also pay for food (can cap at $20 or so depending on location). Leaving the passengers in the airport for 20 hours is madness.

I think that is why they are called budget. I think they fly their plan much more with less downtime. Thus easily get delayed. 

 

If they have to put people in hotel when something goes wrong, might reduce the savings they get from running a tight schedule.

 

I also kenna canceled flight (another air line, internal flight). Just book hotel myself and claim insurance.

Oh I think not the Airline's fault.  It's the Hong Kong airport's fault.

Oh I think not the Airline's fault.  It's the Hong Kong airport's fault.

My experience was delay 1 hour in SG and then delay 1 hour in HK.

 

So the only common thing to blame is Scoot

Last year December took Scoot to Hokkaido. Arrived on time at New Chitose Airport and reached Changi Airport 30mins earlier.
