Wah a $5 gantry... bus can breakdown, MRT can breakdown but never heard of ERP gantries breaking down.

I find it ironic that MRT ticket gates can break down/misread and require a re-scan of your EZ Link card, but ERP gantries never fail to detect an IU unit.

 

Ya 100% accuracy, can even detect IU failure hahaaa

ERP rates at 3 locations revised

SINGAPORE - The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be revising Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates at three locations after completing its quarterly review of traffic conditions on ERP-priced roads and expressways.

 

From 7am to 7.30am, rates for southbound CTE after Braddell Road & PIE slip road into southbound CTE (4 gantries) will increase to $1. From 7.30am to 8.30am, it will be increased by $1 from the current $4.

 

Meanwhile, for Northbound CTE before PIE, the rate will increase by $0.50 to $1 from 5.30pm to 6pm and by $1 from 6pm to 6.30pm to $2.

 

ECP (Fort Road) & KPE slip road onto ECP (2 gantries) will see an increase of $1 from the current $5 from 8.30am to 9am.

 

The revised rates will apply from Monday, Aug 5. The rates for the other gantries will remain unchanged.

 

The next ERP review will take place in Nov 2013 for the 4th quarterly rate review of 2013.

Wah $6 for ERP. Just going thru that gantry alone will cost $120/mth. [sweatdrop]

Why pay ERP for nothing? This is worse than parking, i dont mind paying a little more for parking for shelter and convienence...pay $6 still stuck in jam...might as well take MRT.

 

$6 to some people can eat 2 days of lunch.

 

Dont understand unless some drivers have too much money to spend.

claim through company's expense! [laugh] The expats will die die drive and claim...., the local senior management staff will also do that, those who do sales with generous allowance will also claim. Just make your sales plan/activity looks like visiting customer in town first thing in the morning... [:p]
