Just like any other game. Our game plan is to sit back and allow opponents to dominate and shots on goal. Treat every opponent with respect, regardless they are man City or sheff utd or Watford or wolves. Every team deserves utmost respect from us.

UE never learn. The substitution cost us again. When We are leading 1-0, he subs torreira for saka. The moment I saw this. I know wolves equaliser is coming.

While I understand that wolves has been attacking tierney side.. he could have bring on kolasinac for let say ceballos to support Tierney in defence before the equaliser.

when Arsenal is chasing for the winning goal.. he sub (final sub)  tierney for kola, leaving his 72m signing on bench. Genius.

Playing at home and allowing wolves 25 attempts on shot is embarrassing and he claimed that his tactics worked.

Again our game plan against the mighty Vitória S.C. worked perfectly. They had dozens of attempts on goal and we scored with our only SOT in the entire game. #Emerymasterclass.

In this competition our objective is to be first in the group. “We are going to play the next two matches to make sure we’re in that position. Now we’re going to prepare for a new competition. “We worked, we played, fighting against a team with strong organisation. “When we did the most difficult, score one goal, they drew at the end. It’s a little disappointing for that result. “We’re first in the group, we want to make sure of that position in the next matches.”

Wow we are 1st in our group. Let's celebrate our draw like it's a victory in the EL final! Against the mighty Vitória S.C. no less.

Shkodran Mustafi admits Unai Emery’s decision to play with a back three hampered Arsenal’s performance in their 1-1 draw with Vitoria on Wednesday. The German defender was responsible for Arsenal’s only shot on target as he put the Gunners in front with a header from Nicolas Pepe’s free-kick in the 80th minute. But Arsenal were unable to hold out for the victory as Bruno Duarte equalised for Vitoria in injury time, while the Portuguese club also came close to snatching a last-gasp winner. Emery opted to play Mustafi alongside Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Rob Holding in a three-man defence. But Mustafi feels the decision meant that Arsenal’s players struggled to find ‘rhythm’ in the opening 45 minutes.

Mustafi spouting nonsense! How can he doubt UE's tactical acumen? We playing away to Vitória S.C. leh. Never put in 4 CBs and 2 FBs already very risky liao. #Mustafiout

He has lost it.

Nowadays, every opponent we faced is a team with strong organization.

The money he paid for Pepe can probably buy the whole Victoria squad.

We gave them their only 1 point in the Europa league.

Definitely no excuse for that.

the 1-1 draw flatter arsenal..

if you saw how arsenal were defending free kicks around the box..... i think VC easily win by 2-3 goals

Wow didn’t know there is an active Arsenal thread in this forum.

anyway, it’s sad days for Arsenal. No sexy football, no results, no hope. Look at how well Lampard and Brendan Rogers are doing. I dare say the squad is not on Emery’s side but knows that the board will probably do nth until the end of the season. The fact that Ozil is sticking ard despite being condemned by Unai shows that he knows Unai will be gone before he does.

In my opinion.. The problem with Arsenal is they sit back and allow opponent to drive at them. Opponent can easily pass/dribble until the edge of our penalty box and that’s when we started to defend but yet we allow them spaces to pass/ shoot. When they dribble into our penalty area, it is always heart Attack as it look like we are going to give away penalty anytime. That’s why opponent always have high attempt on shot against us. We are also conceding possession as a result.

Our counter Attack is poor mainly because our passing is wayward and not precise which contribute more to the existing problem.

Player vs player wise we shouldn’t be losing this match. We lost due to tactical strategy.
