I would recommend the Kumho KU31. Good grip, great treadwear and less noisy than the Bridgestone Potenza 050As RFTs that I have now.

Bro

Try Bridgestone Turanza GR90. Was surprisingly quiet even untill 34k+ .

Relatively good braking on wet conditions as compared to my current Conti CS3.

what is the size...surprisingly different profiles have VERY different ratings and performance, even within the same model and rim size..especially BS tyres (according to the eu labels)

quiet tyres impt for me, i am the I.C.E type of guy haha

also Eagle f1 asym2 not in tyretest top rated lei haha or am i missing something lol

need something real good, i dont go budget on tyres haha and brakes

But you did mention $300 a tyre so GoodYear does fall in that range.

Otherwise go soft and quiet but wears out fast = Pirelli Pzeros.

I replaced my PZeros after 15,000km.

Bro,

The threads are still deep & wear evenly as I regularly do balancing & rotation.

Moreover, I don't do hard cornerings :D

cheers

What's the price like for 225/45/17 ?

Usually quiet means less grip. .......

On the contrary, modern technology incorporated in the tyre compound & groves/thread design makes them overall acceptable in both wet & dry road condition.

In addition, with most modern cars having ESP or DTC it will offset any negative behaviour of the ride. How many of us actually 'attack' corners with gung ho or do hard brakings like in the tracks.

just my 2 cents. :D

cheers

205/55/16 last quoted ard S$210. For 17, shud not be more that $300 i guess.
