Public transport here is a joke.

Companies must make money.

Salary increase pass on to commuters.

Any increase pass on to commuters.

Do nothing productive.

Do nothing to cut cost.

Easy fix, pass all increase to commuters, and reward themselves for doing a good job.

My son said " Dad..if like that I also can be minister"....whatever problem just increase price.... [laugh]

this is absurd! ludicrous!

i never thought it would come to this, but it leaves me no choice...

I shall now actively use my God-given intelligence to work out ways to cheat the fare system, and preach it to my family.

For them it is correct way to solve problem lo. Since s'poreans complaint there should be clearer differences between locals and foreigners, so they increase the foreigners fees to distinguish the differences. [:p]

this is an universal solution wat. price of eggs, vegetables, chickens rise, all yr coffeeshop uncles/aunty and wet market also up their prices. it doesn't make sense to them to eat into their own profit to absorb the rising cost. if not, they do biz for wat.

then if you want govt to step in subsidise, same theory nobody would want to dock from own pay which actually i think some minister got pay cut and no pay increment for x no. of yrs. but the general solution is up the tax lo. unless we want to end up like US govt hving trillion of debts and still relunctant to raise tax.
