I'm guessing since "change car alarm" is in that list, there is something wrong with the current one? If so, then I would recommend changing your car alarm first. No point doing everything else if one day the car goes missing [:p]

MY view

Respray whole car (first, as it need to disassemble most part of your ride)

Leather seat upholsery (last as it may get dirty, scratch during install of ICE and other stuffs.)

The rest are independent of each other. Usually, ICE and alarm are done at the same shop.

Mine is a 6 year old car. I did in the following order :

1. Change alarm

2. Respray whole car (same colour)

3. Change CD player to an DVD+GPS system.

For leather upholsery, I had mine done one a year when send my car for waxing, as that same shop (in Punggol Plaza basement 2 carpark) also do leather cleaning.......

I wud do mechanicals then electrical then interior n last paint.

I paint last in case e other works end up damage yr shiny new paint.

But like what others hv said....since yr car already 6 yrs old...dun spend too much doing it up cos very soon u wil scrap. Just do those really necessary n keep yr cash fr yr next car. Unless u confirm going to renew coe in 6 yrs time.

Maybe current paint work too eye sore, wont attract car thieves

Since new leather seats may be damaged by other trades, it can be second last.

Can also ask e upholster to cover e seats wh plastic to protect them. Owner can remove plastic after all e work has been completed.

This reminded me of a fren who made full use of the protective plastik sheets which came with his new car, for the first 2 years! He kept them on the seats [:p]

When i was younger many pple wud leave the plastic covers on their seats to protect them n keep them looking new till ty became e butt of jokes cos u pay extra fr nice comfortable seats n cover wh hot sticky plastic to keep them new. So sua ku.

Then ty prob felt shy when pple used to laugh at them n e practice stopped.
