Just wish to share that if u guys decided to buy cars from this shop located at 210 turf road call Car Guru.. please don't look for this salesman call Ray or Raymond.. he's a good salesman if there's no issue but if there is... god bless you..

 

He will MIA, CALL NO ANSWER, WHATSAPP SEND THROUGH ONLINE AND YET DOESN'T READ YR MSG.

 

There are other better salesman compare to him which help me to settle my case even I didn't brought my car from him..

For those who want to get back at dealer for mileage tampering, here's what I saw at VAGSG and which lawyer to look for.

 

 

 

 

Hi all, after weeks of haggling with the car dealer, my lawyers finally got a settlement for me. Details are in the letter attached. The car dealer's company name, as well as the workshop I have the extended warranty with, are mentioned in this letter.

**Removed letter with the advice from my lawyer**

It's an $8K settlement.

Thanks for all your help, and special thanks to my lawyers from Parwani Law LLC and Mr Parwani, who successfully assisted someone else as well a few months ago with a case of mileage tampering (http://www.straitstimes.com/singapor...mpered-mileage). He is also a member of the panel of Legal Advisors to the Singapore Vehicle Traders Association, so if anyone needs help like this, do approach his firm. Not being paid for this ad but it's the least I can do.

Hi Guys, i'm new here and would appreciate some advices from you. Basically i'm a victim of AUTO PREMIUM PTE LTD at AML. I bought a new car with a full 30% downpayment from them back in alril and now the shop had already closed down after the debt recovery company video went viral. I am now in a total lost as i understand that pte ltd companies can just close down with no liabilities. However, the owner is still contactable (as of now) and still promise to deliver my car but all his promises made last time is all empty promises which i feel he was just buying time with his words. Also, making a police report, small claim or file to CASE will it helps or is useless? Any kind souls can advice or any procedure for me to follow inorder to get my car? TIA

Be very careful if you are considering buying a used car from Motor Universe at Turf City.  Purchased a Tiguan from them last year with mileage of 83,000 km.  Recently when having the car inspected by VW authorized workshop, they informed me they have serviced the car previously at 123,000 km.  Records in the log book provided only went up to ~70k.  

 

These guys are either professionally negligent or outright criminal for selling cars with tampered mileage.  Either way they aren't worth dealing with.  If you are here doing background research on dealers before buying, I'd recommend you look elsewhere!

Thanks Fcw75.  I am looking into small claims legal options, although the difficulty will be proving the delaer was acting crimnally and not just negligently.  I'll update if I make any progress though

Sorry to say this but be prepared for the finance company or bank to repossess your car anytime now (if the previous owner's loan has not been fully redeemed).

I've said this many times and I want to say it again.

 

Most car dealers are Crooks and Scumbags!

 

If I have to buy a used car, I will only go to reputable used car dealers like Republic, PPSL, Wearnes. They may cost more but at least I have peace of mind with my buying experience.

 

I've had enough of dealing with Crooks.

 

Incidentally, do avoid dealing with RNJ MOTORING at AML.

Fellow forum members, I'm currently looking for a 2nd hand car, understand that we can request the dealer to send the car to STA or AA for inspection right? So who's going to pay for the inspection cost? Normally what you guys will state in the agreement before sending the car for inspection?

 

Appreciate that you can enlighten me. Thanks!
