No, i physically updated to the latest version already.

My wife also. So it's probably a compatibility issue.

Tried last night ... can be seen from the receiver's side ...

Won't be using too many times, I think ... unless I wanna scold vulgarities, and highlight this in BOLD :D

If i type *bold*, it should display bold on whoever is receiving the msg.

If i type _italic_, it should display italic

But i cant view the changes myself. So far it works when i send this to my wife, but the converse is not working

iphone seem like no have this option.

I'm doing it with my wife. She's apple, I'm android. Both updated versions. She can view my font changes, but so far her msgs to me cant view the changes.

Wahhh...

Whatsapp just encrypted all our messages.

The idea is simple: when you send a message, the only person who can read it is the person or group chat that you send that message to. No one can see inside that message. Not cybercriminals. Not hackers. Not oppressive regimes. Not even us. End-to-end encryption helps make communication via WhatsApp private – sort of like a face-to-face conversation.

The question is: How long will it take the NSA supercomputer to break into the encryption?  [laugh]

Actually, it took them quite a bit of time and they had to seek outside help for it...

Anyway, I'm not a terrorist so my whatsapp security just has to withstand scrutiny from our CPIB, CID, IRAS.

Alternatively, I can just throw away my handphone charger  [laugh]
