Killed and restarted the app umpteen times. No go. The option is missing. :TT_TT: :TT_TT:

 

just wait lo. roll out must be in batches ... slowly starting to appear.

 

idk if it makes a difference since im running ios 9 though.

it auto logs out after ten mins or so. Still prefer FB to Internet message.

 

strange... I'm on iOS 8 and found the web option when I checked the apps setting page. Didn't have to restart/uninstall/whatever... also have it paired to two Macs running Safari since morning... the laptop has been put on sleep multiple times in between... hasn't logged out once in either computer.

So means un-install and re-install the app again?

 

Previous message will be install back also? including group chat?

 

I updated my whatsapp app , than suddenly, even when I mute my group chat, there are still notification whenever any new message come in [furious]

I updated my whatsapp app , than suddenly, even when I mute my group chat, there are still notification whenever any new message come in [furious]

Did you backup chat history. I backed up to iCloud and restore it from there. Everything back to normal after that

Anyone can teach me how to reset whatsapp on my phone. If anyone sends me video file and if I play it, it will repeat itself over again at the end again and again. Where to set please ?

WhatsApp is finally letting its users add formatting their texts.

The new update finally lets people turn their texts bold, italicised or strikethrough.

The feature was tested in a beta option but has just been turned on for all users with updates to the iOS and Android app. For most people, those updates should automatically install, and come with version 2.12.17 for iPhones and 2.12.535 for Android handsets.

The feature is enabled not by clicking a button, as on word processing apps. Instead it is hidden in the app, and turned on by including certain characters.

Including asterisks around a message will make it turn bold. Putting underscores on each side will turn it italic. And surrounding it with tildes, ~like this~, will make WhatsApp put a line through it.

All of the features will work together, so that you can surround a word with all three of the characters and have each of the formatting options apply to a word.

I'm doing it with my wife. She's apple, I'm android. Both updated versions. She can view my font changes, but so far her msgs to me cant view the changes.

I do like the QR code scan on the whatsapp web. I can do the typing on my PC and send from there.

If i type *bold*, it should display bold on whoever is receiving the msg.

If i type _italic_, it should display italic

 

But i cant view the changes myself. So far it works when i send this to my wife, but the converse is not working

U using android? Likely u set WhatsApp app to no auto update.

On a separate note, FF7 is available for IOS! :a-happy:

FF9 is out on iOS strangely ff8 not ported.
