oK.. Save the downloaded apk file into your phone and install it. Go to ''setting'' ....''account''....''privacy'' and the ''read receipt'' option will appear after installation. This version is still not available in google play store yet so you need to download from Whatsapp mainweb for the apk file.

 

For android phone.

Hi Mates, I do not know if it's jst my phone (iPhone 6) or anyone hv the same problem/changes I hv a few days back on whatsapp.

 

My photos in camera roll already been done assigning to its own folder/album tru syncing to my PC. A few days back when I wanted to attached a picture to a frd I was not even able to choose fm the other albums except camera roll folder.

 

I tried checking my setting n all ok 😵😵😵 any advise? Don't tell me to change phone Ya 😄 hahaha lol

did you backup, etc and did a cloud update?

 

select from all photos, and see albums in the photos on iphone

 

syncing to dropbox?

you mean other photo album that you sync from your pc to your phone?

Yes, all sync or iCloud done correctly n new iPhone 6 workg well till last wk after the latest whatsapp update n I can't select fm other album not created fm phone itself.

All self created albums saved n uploaded back to new phone a month 3 weeks ago. Only save pictures fm camera roll to iCloud n reloaded successfully. Now can only do a direct touch on picture n paste to message. 😒😒😒

Ok, just got an respond from WhatsApp Support team that they are aware of this issue and THEY hope to hv this fixed in the future version but cannot comment on any timeline................ [dizzy]

 

At least I know now...................... [:)]

Touch down in a foreign country, and it's likely that you will send the first message to your loved ones at home via WhatsApp only when you locate a Wi-Fi network.

Now, an Italian company has come up with a sim card that they say will plug that gap.

WhatSim is a sim card that lets you use WhatsApp anywhere in the world for €10 (S$15.50) a year.

The sim card connects to 400 operators in about 150 countries, and will search for the best signal automatically, the company says. Singapore and Malaysia are included in the countries it operates in.

There will be no need to search for a Wi-Fi connection, or pay for roaming data services, but it works only with WhatsApp. The user will not be able to make calls, send text messages or surf the Internet.

You will also have to pay more to send pictures, videos, or share location and contacts.

The idea is the brain child of Manuel Zanella, 38, founder and CEO of Zeromobile.

The card can be bought from authorised dealers or the website at http://www.whatsim.com/en, where it states that the sim works on "all unlocked phones" and comes in nano, micro and standard sizes.

Sim card is 10 eurs, you need to top up another 10 eurs for 1 year of whatsapp and 5 eurs for shipping so 25 eurs total?

 

Don't need to screen a company so much for 25 eurs la.

I tried it on Chrome.

 

scan the code with the phone.

cut and paste the link onto my phone browser.

But it say wrong link

 

Why you paste it on your phone?

 

You are supposed to:

 

1. Open your desktop browser to the link

2. It will show you the QR code

3. Go to your whatsapp on the phone - click to scan the code from there

4. Completed!
