it wasnt there when new, because i will know when washing the rims.

i just worry if it was damaged at the workshop when i left my car there for a couple of days for repair

This is a deep dent that can only be caused by a hard object with rather huge force.

If you had left your car at a workshop or garage, it is most likely that this dent happened there.

Most likely knocked into by a tool or a sparepart when in the workshop .

 

It can be grinded flatter to improve the condition but looks too deep for a perfect repair.

 

I recommend that you either replace a pair of rims (as they sell in pairs) or just let it be.

They wont admit it either, so it will be a waste of effort and time resulting in an unpleasant situation.

 

Therefore, never leave your car overnight at workshop, as much as possible.

rims got scratches or kerb rashes, just continue driving.

no point doing repair and end up got scratches the next day.

already given up on rims repair...

 

end of the day, once the rims look crazy and tyres are going flat, just change to a new set of wheels.

think less; live longer.

Looks like the whole bolt is missing. U need to weld a replacement on.

 

Better go to a good tire shop n check with them.

seriously, go to any tyre shop, they will be able to assist you.

i am not sure from the picture that it is a missing nut or the nut broke.

if it is a missing nut, it will not cost you a bomb to replace a nut.

if it is a broken nut, i suggest you to get a set of new nuts and replace all the four wheels, perhaps aging.
