No, bro ham wanted to try keeping it. I tried to help by giving him a cage (which will go to anyone who wants to take the bunny as well).

It's been more than 6 yrs since labbit was with me.

 

I know it's inevitable that  the day will come where he will leave me. It still hurt me, a lot.

 

I am ever so glad that I was with him by his side till his breath and I know he will be at a better place and I thank God that he left peacefully with minimum pain.

 

Rabbit will forever live in my heart and I thank you for all the years you spent with me and my family.

 

Special thanks to bro Elfenstar for the house you gave to labbit.

And you have also been given love by a furry friend. 

Just remember the good times. The end comes for everyone of us sooner or later. But to move on with a beloved beside one is a gift everyone will wish for.

Somehow your words just made me recalled all the beautiful memories of labbit eating from my palm......

 

I am still grieving and  and tearing, but I take comfort in stroking him till his last breath.

Just came back from Mandai pet crematorium.

 

Bid last  farewell and a last look at Labbit where he laid there  in peace.

The ashes will be collected in about 5 days time where I  will probably scatter his ashes at the garden nearby. 

 

Labbit will be there always, where I could see him.

this is off topic,,, but still pet related.

 

once went fishing and saw the pond owner had a very unusual white pet river turtle.

easily over 60cm shell. look veryyyyyyy old.

 

told me it was already big when he got it decades ago liao.. and when he pass, he will instruct his children to take care of it. really dedication man.. i think the turtle should easily go till his grand children.

An update...my girl just texted her mother that she’s bringing home one Syrian long coat that look like the one she sent for cremation 🤪

My wife also kept looking and wanting to adopt another rabbit since the passing of both our rabbits. But I stopped her, in case she gets depressed again when it passes away. Especially when having the rabbit from young to old.

If your wife is ready to move on and to carry forward her love to others, I don't see why not.
