Jellandross Supersonic January 15, 2016 Share January 15, 2016 (edited) i read somewhere that jackroad had english speaking and mandarin speaking sales person to help chinese tourists. might be useful. that's correct. when i was at jackroad i heard a lady's voice speaking perfect mandarin, turned around and she was one of the translator. definitely much better mandarin than us singaporeans haha so don't worry about language barrier. i think they also accept credit card payment without extra charge which explains their slightly higher price. i heard kamekichi was opened by an ex-jackroad employee but they are a smaller setup with no translators. i had to use sign language and monosyllable english but it's not a big problem. both shops are at the same level so it's easy to shop around and compare prices.
