Agree but money is never an issue with Chelsea. Comparatively, I think Costa will be a better buy if they want an out and out striker. Rooney is better coming from deep.

 

I think this summer will be interesting.

 

If chelsea gets costa, they will solve their missing link in their squad - regular goal scoring striker. at the moment, most of their goals are from their attacking midfielders and wingers. imagine they have a 10-20 goals striker.. surely can give city a run for their money.

 

Rooney is kind of stuck at man utd. i am not sure if Chelsea is that desperate to sign him since there are plenty of such players in their squad. more likely mourinho playing mind games to strike out Moyes and utd's challenges.

 

this window is really quiet to the max. hope no last minute scramble and hopefully no last min panic buys for Pool...

probably. terry lost a lot of pace and has become a liability. mourinho isn't the type that's big on sentiments.

In fact, I was more gutted that we missed out on him than Mkhitaryan. His explosive season is beyond my expectation too.

 

He rejected us because we didn't have UCL and agent used our interest to get him a better deal for renewal.

if poo had managed to gotten him and mkhitayan last season.... maybe now competig with man city and chelsea liao instead of worrying over 4th spot

Tough. Both rejected us on the same basis. All good players want UCL. That's why I say this season Pool must get top 4. Then strengthen in summer. Next season then push for title.

Possible but honestly, even if we have zero leak (which is highly unlikely), we will still missed out on Mkhitaryan and Costa.

 

Mkhitaryan we hit the wall on his third party ownership. His agent will tout him elsewhere when he knows we can't resolve it fast. We didn't get the chance to talk to him. Costa is purely on UCL, he is not interested to join us when he can play UCL with Aletico.

 

This window, targets still leaked but sources finding it hard to get info on progress.

 

Salah is Basel keep upping price. We already agreed terms with player so will come for him in summer. Same with M'Vila, player agreed terms but can't strike deal with Ruben.

 

There must be some issues hanging or info is wrong. Can't see why we are holding back if the asking price is only £12m.

Bad news coming out from Italy

 

Not just Jorginho. Napoli is looking to give Benitez another reinforcement for his mdfield. Manuele Baiocchini is reporting that Napoli has essentially reached an agreement with Rubin Kazan for Yann M’Vila: a loan swap with option to buy involving Edu Vargas, with Napoli also sending a 2-3 million euro. The Russian club would accept these conditions. Napoli is working on getting Vargas to accept the destination. The deal is progressing, Napoli continues to make moves.

 

I believe player preference will decide how this deal will conclude provided Liverpool can agree a fee with Rubin.

If he does go there, Napoli's swap/loan deal with Rubin can't materialise. Also throw Banega's future in doubt.

Another deal where owners don tink player is worth as much as the club's valuation. N end up with pool missing out an impt target. For me, its worth to pay a bit more if playr is willing to come. That is to make up the loss of chance for the player of playing in ucl.
