Fulham have confirmed Bryan Ruiz has joined PSV Eindhoven on a loan deal until the end of the season. He plays in similar position to Wijnaldum, who is linked to Liverpool recently

Rai journo Paolo Paganini, who is known to be reliable, claims Liverpo have made an €8m + bonus offer for Jorginho. Napoli still favourites but LIverpool are serious.

Looks like Napoli and Liverpool are sharing the same shortlist.

This is why I don't want Badu. If cannot get any of the target, save money for summer. Below is from a Ghanian journo who is also a Pool fan.

Agyeman Badu is not 23. His real age is 27. He is a good midfielder but is tactically indisciplined. He isn't improving too. Badu lost his place in the National Team and has failed to replace Anthony Annan. We had greater expectations but he has stagnated since. With our aspirations as a club i feel Badu is not an upgrade on what we have. In Ghana it's open secret he isn't 23. Kwesi Appiah continues to lament on his tactical indiscipline which cost us Nations Cup and has been relegated to the bench.

Good news for Everton fans, bad news for Man U fans.

Leighton Baines & Ross Barkley pen new contract extensions with Everton.

i'd say good news for man utd fans... no need for oldman baines to come to man utd now...

True also. Seems like only Moyes want him.

Ya, owner flying down but I hear is to offer BR an extension of contract.

Offering BR a 2 year extension.

Also to buy out the final 2 landlords to clear the way for Anfield expansion. New seating capacity will be 58813.

Hellas Verona sporting director Sean Sogliano: I can confirm we have received an offer from Napoli,

Looks like if Pool had indeed made an offer, it was not even worth a mention. Lol

Hearing that Tottenham have agreed to sell Etienne Capoue to Napoli but that their 9m offer isn't enough.

I thought capoue has been ok? Selling so fast?

Rathrr gd impression of him... versatile can play dm/cb. And very strong physically.

He is good. I would love having him but Spurs won't so business with us.

I believe they are willing to sell because he doesn't fit Sherwood's style of play.

Good for Napoli to get him. With Capoue and Jorginho, Rafa is done. Leaving M'Vila for us.

Can we guarantee Mvilla playing time ? Not sure he wanna come if he do not get to play much. For a more defensive line up, good to have him and Lucas playing the 2 and Henderson/SG playing the 1 in inverted V.

No bro, the reason of us having him is to play a 1-2 (V) midfield with him holding in a 4-3-3. Currently, Lucas nor Gerrard can play as a single pivot effectively. If we get him, we will not have to play an inverted V (2-1).

To accommodate Sturridge and Coutinho, we might have to play a 4-2-2-2 or 4-1-2-1-2. Either formation, we need a more mobile DM like M'Vila.

Hence, playing time he can be assured.

Apparently, in the week before today, Chelsea sold over 1000 shirts with MATIC #6 on the back.

When Matic signed, He asked for #21.

One possible reason why Pool holding back on M'Vila could be waiting on Alex Song for a loan deal.

Alex Song is good. but in my recollection, he seems to have some issues with disciplines and was frequently getting in trouble with red cards/suspension during his time with Arsenal.

big, strong lad. a bit of what is lacking in the our CM area now. abit like tiote but not as reckless haha.

and yes, this guy can contribute to attacks too. having in schooled in possession football with Barca and Arsenal also makes him a well-trained player in this regard...

definitely a good deal if we can get him.
