Initial fee of £7.5m, rising to £12.5m.

BR agreed to long term extension. Just need to put pen on paper.

 

Agger swap deal with Barcelona still being discussed. Liverpool keen on:

Tello, Grimaldo, Planas, Montoya, Pedro and Song.

Correction on the initial fee. Source misread info.

 

Salah deal is just £10m. Very good bargain imo

 

getting song will b good. he was playing very well in ars. too bad he chose to join barca...which is a dumb move in my opinion.

If we are getting Reges and/or M'Vila, I would rather get Tello or Montoya. I guess the key now is which of the playeris actually keen on a move.

 

M'Vila is making all sorts of noises in the Russian media, forcing his way out. One paper even claimed that he wants to join Pool.

What I know: Juventus wants him as sweeper. New York luring him with huge contract. If Xabi decides not to extend, his two likely options now. Man Utd? Impossible lol

 

Another news, Chelsea have agreed a 15m fee to sign Benfica forward Lazar Markovic. He'll stay the two next seasons on loan at Benfica. [O Jogo]

can't see this happening tbh. Atlético is having their best season in decades and he is top scorer in La Liga. Why would he switch now ?? 32m is too cheap IMO. At least 40m.

£32m is the release clause. I can see him moving in the summer, unlikely in Jan.

 

In another news, Roberto Martinez is desperate to sign Alfreð Finnbogason from Heerenveen in January. Already scored 17.

With DM being the priority position to strength, Pool might have to pay want Ruben want for M'Vila or swap Agger for Song. Personally, I prefer M'Vila

Updates for Pool fans:

 

Early window announcement, probably by 3 Jan, signing of Salah and Rodgers committing long term. Another deal done but yet to decide when to announce would be Will Highes.

 

2 other signings, a DM and a LB might take a while to sort out and there are movements of outgoing players to be thrown in. Trade with Valencia for Ever Banega with Aspas (perm) and Ilori (loan) could be on the card.

This one got done before Jan.

 

Official: Fulham confirm the signing of Clint Dempsey from MLS side Seattle Sounders on a two-month loan.

 

Reges' agent in talks with 3-4 clubs at the moment. Believed that pay would be the key to his decision. Liverpool and Juventus are clubs in talk. Not sure of the others.

With Reges likely to prefer a move to Juventus, Pool has approached PSG for a possible sale of Matuidi in Jan. As mentioned, pre contract already offered to him but Pool wants to tie him in Jan rather than to wait till Jul.

 

Liverpool collected fee quotations for 4 Left Backs in mid-December ahead of a January swoop : Moreno, Dodo, Rodriguez & Bertrand.

 

Liverpool vice-captain Danny Agger permitted talks with FC Barcelona. Player's future highly uncertain, after pledging loyalty in summer.
