Neutral Newbie

Hi all, driving a orange jazz rs here. I would like to ask all of you here for opinions. Today my dad found out that somebody cut the inner part of our tires. Both tires at the back were cut. The one at the right even has a nail lodged inside our tire. Anybody experience this before?

Sorry to hear about this what more a new car bro.

Checked your cam? 185/55/16 replacements not too many. If you go back to Kah, they have Bridgestone going for 99 each if iirc from recent visit.

Try to avoid the same location parked, hopefully not residential mscp.

Hi guys m into the 25th days of driving the jazz, i realize that its not a very comfortable ride not sure whether its the tyres. My wife and i find that the drive is rather bumpy or rocky as some may say. I didnt change anything..all stock. oh btw mine is the 1.5 rs. So i need advise as to whether i should change my tyres. Will changing into 205 or 195 size help and which brand or model of tyre should i get to get a more comfy drive. Thanks.

down size the rims to 15inch with thicker tyres ? it should be more comfy... I test drive the 1.3 jazz and the 1.5 jazz, when exiting kah motors showroom , the 1.3jazz with 15inch rims where I feel over the humps it's more softer where the 1.5 is abit harder

with a different profile of 205 or 195 is only a bit difference of thickness but note that 205 is wider and may protrude out the sides

it still boils down to individual preference.....

Maybe can try to use a lower tyre pressure if u feel comfortable with it.  E.g., 220kpa front / 210 kpa rear.  recommended is 230F / 220R.

Thanks Lomfy and Baal...ok will try lowering the kpa and see how.

Coz tyre height plays an important role on ride comfort.  Especially in our case where the rear susp is a torsion beam set-up & we do not have those sophisticated susp system where we can select comfort, sport, track, set-up from the cabin...

our stock tyre wall height is ~101.  205/50 will be ~102mm.  195/50 is ~97mm.  To get clearly noticeable improvement in comfort we will need at least 110mm for the tyre wall's height.

To keep it within 2% in overall diameter width

1) 185/60-15

2) 195/60-15

3) 185/65-15  (Nissan Note)

**hearsay that 185/60-16 is not available in SG.  But this will be over 2% diameter diff.
