Facelift jazz in 2019 started to circulate in the net with new 1.0 turbo engine.

Look like new civic.

check it out..

http://autonetmagz.net/honda-jazz-2019-ready-to-reduce-its-weight-up-to-30-kg-and-apply-a-1-0-liter-turbo/24907/

"A 1.0 liter 3 cylinder turbo borrowed from Civic Europe, as it produce 127 hp and 200 Nm of torque. But probably mated with a CVT."

Euro Civic favors MT.  I believe for the CVT, the torque will likely be limited to ~160nm.

Sorry to hear about this what more a new car bro.

Checked your cam? 185/55/16 replacements not too many. If you go back to Kah, they have Bridgestone going for 99 each if iirc from recent visit.

Try to avoid the same location parked, hopefully not residential mscp.

Which model from BS are those $99?

185/55-16 i presume?

195/55R16 tyres also can be used on Jazz. see pic below. Side wall 107mm. Error +1.8% within 2%. Believe it can improve some ride comfort. But another uncommon size. 205 tyres equally bumpy. Reduce a 10kpa tyres pressure does improve a little comfort.

My latest FC.. 613km with 5 small bar left.. top up to tip 33.15l.. ave around 18.5km/l..

hello :) Can I find out if you do more driving in expressways than city driving to achieve your excellent fc? Cos I am almost reaching 7000km and my fc is still giving me 13-14km/l only. At times, only 12km/l :( I do 70% city and 30% on expressways. I thought even with this, i should be able to acheive at least 15km/l. I don't step hard on the pedal and coast alot especially when nearing traffic lights. It's been dissapointing to say the least after what we were told that it can achieve 18-19km/l but it hasn't happened to my ride so far.

Am driving a 1.5rs and I usually pump Ron95. Was in the workshop last week to resolve another matter and highlighted to the mechanic of my poor fc and he advised me to pump ron98 for better mileage. But i understand our jazz version engine can run at Ron92. I've also pumped up my stock tires to 230Kpa all round.

I usually get about 450-480km max for a full tank only. I drive until no bar shown and meter shows 5km. Pumped full tank to 36ltrs.

Any advice or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

i am doing abt 80 to 85 HW vs 20 to 15 city.. HW at 80 to 100kph.. city drive within speed limit..did u notmally caught in traffic jam?

i notice this car FC will not b best if u having most city drive. I need to step a bit harder and i feel d pick up slower during city drive as compare to my previous airwave.. or may b its just me.

Btw, I hit 730km above a couple of time for my airwave w top abt 38 to 39l.. even at my 9th year i still able to reach ave 550 to 600 before warning lighted

Thank you.

I go 70 hw, 30 city mon to fri. Sat n sun depends, but aircon cfm turn higher n colder. Weekends guess 60 hw n 40 city.

Now at 22+k km. So far i have reset my trip B only when i change eo every 8-9k km. Have yet to reach 15km/ L. Usually 14.5-14.9km/L.

Purely on highway n i reset trip A, i have seen 24km/L over a stretch of 10km at constant 80+kmh.

I believe our engine is optimized for 97+ ron. However, even if fc improve ...after factoring in the additional 30+ cts per litre, i doubt we can say 98 gives better economy.

I'm mostly on kotex ron 95. Note that the min ron on manual's of most cars is after factoring in the safety settings of the ECU.

For this interval, i'm on shu 5w 30, at near 4k km, indicated 14.8km/L. Previously during 1k svc, AD use 5w 40, was managing around 13.8km/L.

Also OBD tend to be optimistic. My manual calcalation after filling always show 1km less vs OBD.

What issue did your jazz have ?

It was a problem with my reverse sensor.

However, when I collected the car in january, it went in and out of the workshop for a couple of times - car just refused to start and finally they found out that it was the fuel relay switch that malfuntioned.

I guess my low FC now is probably due to driving more in the city then :(

I just got my used unit for 4 days but im getting best fc 20km/L, worst 15km+. On Ron 95, this car seems quite good.

On the suspension, dont really like to downgrade the original rims down to 15 inch. Just change new set of tyres but eventually i will change to 195/55/R16. Now still thinking of whether tp go back Kah motor for servicing, left 2k due.

city drive will have more braking.. it will defintely affect your fc.. normally i avoid braking unless no choice.. i seldom brake during early morning ride.. sometime zero if i leave at 6.20.. from north to south.

My FC indicator nw 18.4km/l since day 1, never reset. The highest i hit was 20.. bt since driving to jb more offer.. d ave indicator hv drop to lowest 18.2 due to an hr or 2 of jam.. and my wife have drive more often (she like to brake.. haha). Last 2 week she was not around and I manage to push up to current FC.

hi good morning i thought the closest tyre size to our stock is 225/45R16 follow by 205/50R16? i really wish that i can get the correct one :)

MINI as in MINI Cooper.

205/50-16  is ~615mm.

since 225/45-17  is ~635mm, on a 16 inch wheel, should be also ~615mm.

personally, i would not install a 205 section on our oem 6 inch wide as it the side walls will flex inward to the rim.

If you seek more comfort & also want to keep the diameter close ~1% diff, swap to 15 x 6.5 inch rim.

you can go 185/60-15 at 603mm  or  195/60-15 at 615mm.   our stock oem tyre is 609mm.

Surprised to know that the rims are by Enkei. I like the look but noticed that they are more prone to scratches from stones as compared to the stock rims on my previous Jazz.

Also had the same tyre dilemma when I first got the car - wanted to change to Yokohoma BluEarth but one shop told me SP Sport is actually not bad and made in Japan too, quite wasted if change so fast. Have grown to enjoy them, quite stable during wet weather especially.

But dont you find it a bit bumpy just not comfortable lah if i may say.

no will not down size...if fuel is not the concern i surely will want a 17"
