I did. It was a hassle as seller choot pattern. Asked extra for shipment. Then say car cam got batt cannot send over etc. Asked me cancel. Taobao has a deadline for cancellation and I wasn't able to do so. Send msg bo hue me. Suddenly, the car cam appeared when the courier came. No warning, no nothing. I didn't pay extra too. Mad Chinamen.

Will go back to 65 Daigou to settle shipment. Easy, fast and convenient.

Thanks. I was expecting this kind of stuff to happen. Anyway I went ahead and order cuz can save quite a fair bit on shipping through forwarder since my item weighs about 5kg and only costs about 30sgd. Luckily taobao refund quite ok. So far those items which I have problem or never receive they will refund. So I decided to take the chance.

For those into children's books, I bought the Chinese version of Roald Dahl's books at just ¥52! It is a whole set of 13 books! My children have finished the English version a long time ago so I thought I start them on Chinese.

[thumbsup] Good books to start on Chinese. I used to read the 365夜睡前好故事 to my children every night. This 365 series got many different books. If you buy, can buy a few more.

yeah I'm buying the simple ones. My girl's understanding of spoken mandarin is actually quite high cos my wife and parents in law all speak mandarin. But she seldom has the patience to read lol.

Her class in school has like 5 indians, 1 eurasian and rest of the students come from english ed families. Haha don't think can count on the chinese teacher to elevate her mandarin.

My boys' Mandarin quite bad. They don't really have the chance to use and I speak to them mainly in English. A bit regret as even if I speak to them in Mandarin now they also answer in English. Now that their English is pretty ok, I'm trying to help them with their Chinese to bring their level back up. Also need lots of tuition too.

Like what LKY said, speak to them in mother tongue. They will learn English in school.

Nowadays things just don't last long. My old table lamp which I got when I was in primary school is still working now. Almost 20 years already. Still on the original bulb. Used for 1-2hrs a day.

I bought those that can refill. Alot cheaper than getting from SG. No problems with the printer so far just that the printer does not show when ink level is low.
