saw the HRV short review in today's Straits Times, likely to be brought in my Kah soon.

My friends who are poisoned by Vezel are waiting for HRV to compare prices and specs. The moonroof is one of the main attraction. Spoken to Kah SE last mth, likely bring in 1.5L HRV at selling price around $125k based on current COE.

Some even predict PI might drop price slightly due to competition. But Vezel Japan Made, HRV Thailand made.

I can not wait and will be collecting my Vezel next Thursday😉

Based on Japanese manual, it recommended on 95.

In Japan there is only 2 types of petrol. Typically, Unleaded regular and unleaded high octane. According to wiki and cross checked with other websites. Japanese unleaded regular is at least RON 89 and above while unleaded high octane is RON 96 and above. So cars like toyota wish, vezel where it is mentioned as unleaded regular you can pump RON 92. But cost effectiveness wise, you will need to experiment as maybe pumping 95 can give you slightly better mileage to offset the higher cost. But it is confirmed that 92 is ok.

Well the Thai assembly is not really that bad either.

Original localised HU, moon roof is added feature.

Support for recall will not be an issue too.

I agree with you.

But It is much safer to go with RON95.

I don't think there is any right or wrong to get vezel or hrv. Both have its merits and demerits, most important, don't have any regrets. Enjoy whichever ride you decided to put your hard earn money in. 😃😃😃

$125K for the basic model? If it is confirm thai made I would think there will still be those who prefers jap-made PI at a lower premium. Localised HU if it is like that of Mazda's then it will be super drooling..

Agree, bro. Be happy with our hard-earned purchase, otherwise we'll forever be envious of newer or alternative models that are coming on the market. Still thinking of the Volks Auto saga that occurred not too long ago, so stay contented and grateful. On a brighter note, we are the only ones who can boast to be Vezel owners!

Yes bro. Be happy with what we have and can afford. Life is too short to be envious. After all owning a vezel is already very shoik.

Right now only the side skirts are installed. I need to wait 2-weeks for the Front & Back Kits to arrive then install.

Take a sneak peep at my side skirts... [:p]

Interested to know where did u install and how much did you pay for the side step? PM if inconvenient.

Have been browsing through the forum for quite sometime, doing my research for a new ride which could be either a Kia Forte K3 or Toyota Altis or Mazda 3. I did not consider any Honda cars in my initial choice because I always have the impression that Honda made are usually more pricey. Happened to chance upon this thread and learned about the new Honda Vezel. It was love at first sight and after having read all the forum postings in this thread, I have more or less firmed up on my decision to go for a Honda Vezel 'X' model.

Like many others, I have never purchased any car from a PI before. After the Volks Auto saga, many people are like me more apprehensive about buying from PI. However, having seen so many success stories in this thread, I think the risk of a default is lower if we go with more reputable PIs.

Considering that the next COE bidding exercise will be conducted next week, it may be better to wait and see which way COE is heading; hopefully down...
