Yest after i parked my car with the engine still on... I walk out to check out my head lights... My wife said the dashboard says something like no key...

I do not know if the car can still drive a certain distance?

I use to drop off my kids outside their childcare with engine on. Everything just function as normal then one day I asked my wife to drive off for one round with the key in my pocket (about 2 km) and came back. Everything seem normal except no key lights and light beeping sound. My friend experienced by driving off the car (not Vezel) when the key was with his husband pocket after he drove the car to the airport for his departure, the car unable to switch on after she switch off the car. At the end she need to get the spare key to switch it on.

i experienced the Audi version..once the key is out of the car..the engine auto off.

I tot it come with immobilizer? So what is the function of the immobilizer?

If the engine is not on and someone breaks in..without the key the engine should not be able to start and drive off with the immobilizer.

Looks like if the engine is on... U can keep driving until no fuel.

That is preety bad.

Maybe there is a reason why the engine will not cut off, could be to prevent engine stalled which could lead to accident when someone drove off without the remote key.

However, if the engine is not on or in accessory mode it will auto off in 30 or 60 mins.

hi bro, I tried getting a quote from the same place n they mentioned for vezel it is $1368 for the $1200++ package. is that what u paid?

I believe that u can bargain/ask for 10% discount ... And could be the price went up. A couple of bro did it earlier than me & paid 1200, while I paid a little bit extra.

Matching color ... swee!

the tiny square rear brake light is kind of disappointing.

Same thoughts. I am always concern abt rear lights. I think I will stick on some reflective sticks soon. Initially wanted to change the Honda logo to those with light but understand it is not approve.

Anyone have any other suggestion?

Hi everyone,

Just finished plouging through 65 forum pages (set to 50 posts per page) over the span of a few days / weeks.

I collected my Black Honda Vezel S Model on 19th December from Exodus Global and have been driving it around for slightly under 2 weeks now.

It really is a huge difference from my previous Honda Fit which I drove for 10 years. Still getting used to all the functions and technology to be honest.

A couple of questions for the more experienced drivers:

1) My first fuel tank of petrol lasted me about 475km and I was avereaging about 13km/l - is this normal? Driving mix of expressways and minor roads. I have been driving without the green light Eco Mode on as I was told that it is automatically switched on when I start the car engine. Am I doing it right or wrong? Really wish to experience the superior fuel consumption of the car first hand.

2) The car came with 4 front sensors and 2 rear sensors and I find that they are very sensitive, especially the right side ones. Sometimes not driving next to anything also will just continue beeping - unless it can detect the trees/plants by the road side and even water droplets when its raining. My short-term solution is to just switch off the sensor, but is there anything I can do to "fix" this? Is it even a problem (annoyance)?

3) At traffic lights, which of the 3 options do you guys prefer to use: (a) Engine cut-off with fully-depressed foot brake and comes on again with a slight jerk when brake pedal is released OR (b) Activate electronic handbrake P while still in D mode and release it when moving off OR © activate Brake Hold and press accelerator when driving off? Any pros and cons for each of these options?

4) My package somehow did not include a car alarm (most prob my oversight for not asking for it to be included). So I do find it weird that when I walk away from the car with the keys in my pocket the engine is still running. Can any of you recommend where I can get a car alarm installed for the Vezel? Does this mean that I'll have two remotes instead of the current one used to lock and unlock the car?

5) I know that the remote contains a traditional car key to be used in case the battery dies and cannot use the electronis method of starting the car but where on earth is the hole for the car key? I can't seem to find it or am I just blur sotong and ba jiu ta stamp?

6) The car came with front camera installed (cheap one from Korea methinks with no screen to view the video so have to take out SD card and view on computer if anything happen). New to this as old car didn't have any camera. How many of you keep recording even when parked? Does it really drain the battery that much? How many of you also proceed to install a rear camera (not the parking one)? Is there a real need for this considering that the one who usually hit backside is at fault anyway?

7) Any bros using bike rack for the Vezel? Which brand and model is compatible for a mini-SUV like ours?

8) My reverse parking camera was ok for a while and then suddenly a few days ago I noticed the angle a bit different, now I can see some parts of my license plate. Did I alter the angle inadvertently when closing the boot of the car? I tried adjusting it manually but like no difference. Any advice what I may be doing wrong?

Have not done anythign to zhng the car - everything is in stock condition. Only got an IU / cashcard cover, re-used old 3M mats from old Honda Fit (fits nicely surprisingly) and got a trunk organiser. Slowly la bit by bit.

So far only spotted a few other Vezels on the road - a silver one near Woodleigh and a white one driving along CTE-AYE :)

Sorry for the lengthy post from a newbie. Really hope to learn from the more experienced ones here.

Happy New Year everyone. Cheers :)

Does anyone know what is the distance before the CBTA will be activated?

I've tried moving forward towards a wall in a carpark ( as close as 30cm) but the CBTA is not activated

Paint protection - go for ceramic pro 9h. My old Vios was on it for years and still looks good.

My uncle's Vezel went for it too last week and there were other one Vezel waiting and a Q50 just done up. Superb finishing.

Although pricing is slightly higher than others, its highly recommended. The boss himself is working with his other guys. Hard to see bosses' hands on personally now a days.

Can I check if you guys often get the low temperature indicator warning light on cold crank? Seems like a daily affair for me. If it goes away it should be ok right?

Anyway, I'd finally done up the car.

1) Did ceramic pro 9H. Top 3 panel double coat, sides single coat. Hope it really can keep the etch marks caused by bird dropping off the paintwork.

2) Front recorder wired to control by switch, either by ignition or parking mode. Rear recorder by ignition only, since I reverse park all the time.

3) Got a contact from one of the bros here to purchase the Honda original steering control. Installed it together with a Pioneer AVH-8650BT HU, Rockford amp, GroundZero speakers and double layer STP sound proofing for front doors. Didn't tell my wife but she could tell the difference in acoustics.

Last thing on my mind are the rims. Where do you guys get yours and did the shop accept the trade-in of your original rims + tyres?
