Encounter an unusual situation today. Both of my cigarette sockets are not functioning.

Restarted the car but situation remained the same.

Is this something that needs to be rectified with Tan Chong, or due to certain configuration.

Prior to today, I was using them to charge my mobile phones.

X trail dun have USB?

Collected my ride last week. Have been enjoying my ride. Compared with my previous Toyota Vios, it is much more quiet. Only downside to the car is the FC, currently averaging 10km/l compared with 14km/l with my Vios.

Actually 4km/l not much diff, in x trail you have a 60l fuel tank..not to mention it weighs waaay much more than a Vios and a bigger car, SUV and a sedan can't compare

Its awesome that you're enjoying it, do you plan on buying any accessories for it?

Already added shark fin antenna, paint protection system and ICE already. Should be sufficient already

Congrats for ur ride!FC Should further improve over time. Mine so far average 11.4km/L on 2500km mileage based on dashboard reading which I found quite accurate compared to manual calculation. ~ 20% city driving including one trip stuck in causeway for 1.5h.

The bigger tank (compare to my old 1.5l ) does help me to reduce frequency of visits to gas statation.

Pioneer active sub, rainbow SLC 6.2, Audison 5.9 Amp with DSP.

The combination considered mid or high range? Did you sound proof the doors?

4km/l not much.

Only 30% difference.

Now. Ask urself again. If u can cut ur expenses by 30%, is it a lot?

Think this way and u will make a better judgement. No right or wrong.

Depends on your budget. Damage is 2.2K. No sound proofing as it is better than my previous car with sound proofing. U dun really hear much engine sound from XT.

Agree that 30% is quite abit. Then again, we didn't buy Xtrails for their awesome fuel consumption efficiency, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. =)

Agree. Ain't about the petrol cost.

Cos x trail has space. Size. Presence. Comfort.

My earlier message was just to get perspective right

anyone encounter a squeaking sound in the steering wheel when turning?

i brought up during my last servicing. they say it's normal.

but it seem to be getting louder and so far no one else in the x-trail whatsapp group has it.
