TPMS can do outside but the rest that you've mentioned would have needed to be done at factory and that would have increased the OMV of the car.

just booked an XT last weekend..

It will be a huge adjustment for me in terms of the drive. Really hope this car wont disappoint. Had such a hard time deciding between Harrier and the XT.

Usually buying car is a happy thing.. i actually felt sad after I signed the agreement.. gg to miss the Alfa so much.  [:(]

understand how you feel, as I am not eager to get the car too

XT is not a driver car but more of a family car to serve diff purpose.

You made the wrong choice, pal. Should have gone with Forester XT for the superior performance and drive and safety. Especially you and wifey are Alfa fans. Unless you need 7 seats for the big family, then the xtrail makes sense.

lol.. yah i know. Forester is out... wife doesnt like subaru. (me too)

whether i choose the harrier or XT, they are irrational. I am actually tempted to keep the Alfa also until scrap at 2017.

maybe 3 years later, I can change to Alfa giulia. Keeping fingers crossed.

giulietta only at 126k now actually. But i dont like the look.. the shield, the headlights... it looks like a surprised bird. :p

156, great car... that throaty and raw engine...

haha.. it is good to have someone knowing how I feel now.

Actually after the test drive.. i forgot if there are these features in the car.. hope any XT owner can enlighten me.

Are there:

1. 'Manual overwrite' (the + and - on the gear shift)

2. Courtesy lights on each door (shine on the ground when doors are opened)

3. Lights for the glove box

4. Lights for the vanity mirror on passenger side

5. Beeping warning (proximity) when car is reversing

6. And for the all round cam, is it accurate? Would you trust it enough to say parallel park just by looking at the screen? (not do it for real of course)

Thanks!

hi Chrispie

1) no manual overwrite. (no + or -).

2) no floor light. but there is cabin light that you can set it on or off, when you open the door.

3) yes there is light at the glove compartment, but it is only switch on when headlight is switch on.

4) yes there is light at the passenger side

5) yes, there is reverse sensor that beeps.

6) yes, in my case it is accurate. however it depend on the setting of individual car. and it is really useful for parallel parking and head in parking to check if you hit the front kerb. (I do use that to check. in fact you don't have to stick out your head anymore.)

hope its useful

agree, but better to give it to those with higher margin first then ask the others to top up

I think for a dealer of such size.. That profit margin is reasonable. When you look at the margin merc makes.. It's mind boggling. I went to check out the Gla. Omv 27k.selling 172888.

And showroom was packed. I had to wait an hr before a test drive.
