For the best young English LB, yes, that's the price to pay. I think that £300kpw for Rooney is worse.

300k for Rooney really stupid.

Sell him !! [wave]

Although the talks between Liverpool and Saville have stalled, the move for Moreno is still very much on.

So Pool fans no need to worry about Cole or Bertrand for now

Suso: "Porto are the best club in Portugal and they have faith in their youngsters. They also have a coach I like working with[Lopetegui]. I will only renew with Liverpool if I'm guaranteed I'll play regularly. The option is clear if I don't renew: let me leave. I think Liverpool thinks the same. They won't let me leave on a free in a year if I don't renew. Let see what happens."

Heard that too but not substantiated by most of my sources so I didn't share.

Personally, I rather keep Borini. Adam Johnson is too inconsistent imo and we have players in his position. Borini on the other hand, fill a striker position which we have just barely enough.

I just feel that he is spolit in manu.

Every 2-3 years always ask for pay rise by saying want to leave the club..

Anyway, he is not as good as some other players used to play in Manu.

This I agree, rooney is holding man utd ransom with his "I want to quit" attitude. Ferguson put him in his place only to be buggerred by Moyes! No player is bigger than the Team, ferguson knows that and has save the club numerous times/1 Dammit this moyes, tok about him make me tu lan nia..

yeah...i believe even the strongest man u supporter has to agree that 300k/w for rooney is just to much. his performances certainly didnt justify that. if im not wrong, scholes did say rooney is past his peak, n for that, even 200k/w seems too good a money to b paying him.

I think CR7 time in Manu is still sooooooo much better than Ronney now.

Somemore CR7 at manu is still not fully develop lo..

of cos ronaldo is so much better. it is only cos of moyes' stupidity that they offered rooney that kind of pay. he was afraid of losing a star player, while struggling to get any kind of player in.

Rooney will retire at Man U liao, no way he will be getting this type of pay anywhere else. He has a lot of prove during this WC, so far has been disappointing.

If as rumoured he will be pushed wide to accommodate Sterling, will be interesting to see how he responds.

best is to jus omit him fm the team. other midfielders r currently performing better than him. even barkley is better.

Truly agree. Barkley somehow reminds me of a younger and hungrier rooney.

Whilst I totally agree with you on Rooney's attitude and the fact that Man U have spoilt him, I won't totally blame Moyes cos the earlier pay increase few years back was down to Fergie if you can remember. He wanted to leave and wa pacified by Fergie to stay with a new bumper contract. Moyes is to be blamed for the latest 300k contract.

All in all, to be fair; in this modern era of player power; like it or not, the players have alot of say and are paid obscenely. Rooney I feel have played well for United over the years but I can't say the same for his performances for England and he owes England big time this month!!!

Frankly speaking, I don't think is really fair to just put the blame solely on Rooney for England's failure... in recent years(or in fact way many years), how many of the English players who have played very well for their clubs really delivered in an England shirt?

Stevie G? Lampard? Even the goalies let slip on number of occasions... sigh. [shakehead]

Really, i find it hard to think of a name who consistently done well for England..

Cos playing for England only receive a token of allowance niah. Club pay big big every week like Rooney, $300k (pound) per week or S$620,000/- per week ... [sweatdrop]
