From a Belgium jorno:

Pictures and videos will follow soon for the website of LFC. On Monday Divock Origi will be present at training LOSC Lille. Belgian striker signs a 5-year contract at Anfield Road. First year a loan back to LOSC Lille. Just got the confirmation from his dad. Good news for LFC and his fans. Everything has been settled for the signing of Divock Origi. (19). Passed his medicals on Friday.

Also hearing PSG will sign Di Maria on loan with automatic sign on after a year. FFP has now another loophole to patch.

AC Milan has offered Arsenal a chance to sign super Mario for £8m + Joel Campell

Liverpool:

Lambert £4m; Can £10m; Lallana £23m; Markovic £20m; Remy £8.5m; Lovren £20m; Origi £12.5m

Total : £98m

To be consistent, I will use the end figure for the transfers. Pool probably spending close to £100 now.

Mirror report on the latest concluded deal - Origi. Claiming he chosen Anfield over Arsenal, Spurs and Atletico.

Hearing the hold up on Remy's deal is not just paper work. There seems to have issue with his knee.

Not saying the deal is off but there might be further investigation required.

Atlético Madrid have reached a £24m agreement with Real Sociedad over the transfer of Antoine Griezmann.

Another player I like. Atletico pull off another great deal

Rumour pool looking at Thomas vermaelen....

$20,000,001 sounds good haha

Lol good suggestion bro.

But all paper talk. CB position Pool is done. Now only left a LB and possibly a keeper.

Vermaelen just using us to get Man U to move I think.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Dani Osvaldo will join Inter Milan from Southampton.

I wonder what Koeman is thinking now

Rumor he failed medical in 2010 before in Marseille due to heart problem

He can play CB and LB and has premier league experience.... sounds like what you all looking for in the market this season

Confirmed: Liverpool pulled out of Remy's deal.

Gutted. He was supposedly taking the No.7 shirt.

Reason is over a medical report. Issue is his heart and knee.

:(

He did. Subsequently a proposed move to West Ham collapsed too. They pulled out after medical too.

We need a proper LB. Looks like it might be Bertrand.

At least the Lovren deal suffers no hiccups. Announcement tomorrow. Will join the squad for the remaining US tour.

Remy might still get his move to Liverpool. Everton might be willing to take a risk.

Got info on the pull out. Over our insurer unable to cover the player with existing heart condition. Hence deal collapsed. He did pass his medical as reported. It is the subsequent insurance coverage that brought the entire deal down.

Finally saw a starting line up closer to what Pool might start for new season.

My observation on the new signings

1) Hendo + Can as runners ahead of SG will work well in games when we want to take on a more defensive approach. Off the ball pressing from the pair is good but might need more coordination;

2) Markovic showed some of his explosive runs going forward but at the same time, he track back diligently to help out and keep the defensive shape too. Decent depute I would say;

Happy to see Jose Enrique not losing much of his speed after the long injury. Tends to switch off at times but his pace helped him to recover well. Johnson is still the weak link in Pool's back 4 imo.

Reina didn't even make the bench, tells a lot on his future

Apart from the leadership quality BR sees in him, tactically this is also why he wants Lovren as the top target.

BR: Lovren is right footed. He likes to play on the left but can also play on the right.

As I have said previously, this allows him to partner either Skrtel or Sakho.
