Gazzetta linking Liverpool with Mario Balotelli after Rodgers' remarks about him, "he's exceptional and can play in any club in the world."

He said it in the pre match conference for the upcoming Milan-Liverpool friendly.

This is how easily players get linked by tabloids.

Overpriced !!

That's the price Juventus want bro.

Arturo Vidal will finally seal a move to Man Utd from Juventus - €60m the fee. (BILD)

Been reading and hearing this for the last few weeks.

I won't believe until he holds the jersey at news conference with LVG.

Same here. If Twitter is to be believed on this deal, Vidal already had his 5th medical done.

I can say with confidence that the interest is very real. However, Man U have yet to agree fee with Juventus, who are looking at 60m euros.

I'm also quite jaded like Yuan when it comes to big names linked to United.

I seem to trust you more than what I see in the papers.

Desperate is not the word, Must buy to save the faces of the past managers, look who are grabbing all those players round the continent ?

Any clubs in Spanish league, EPL or German league would loves to have a hand on couples of WC players, but then if managers goes out to buy WC players, I reckon the level of participation and playing field are lost, players will be jaded and faded by the times thy gain peak performance.

Past WC purchases had shown results during WC, these group of players play twice or thrice for their country, lost of form or thru injuries playing for clubs, it 's a cycles of a football players, when ages and older, he has lost it appreciation and valuation.

Look at Pulyol of Barca , Roberto Carlos of Real Madrid, George Best turned an alcoholic and lost his fortune. You are only worth as much on the field, once out field, the player are nothing.

Not sure if age plays a part but Lambert seems to be taking a long time to get his sharpness back. So far in all the preseason matches, he is finding hard to keep up.

If Borini does leave, Pool need to sign two forwards in my opinion. The two linked with Remy would be good for me.

Lambert had just missed a penalty for pool

for borini I was hoping he is off to Sunderland as the money return is good

Thanks for the trust bro. I will try my best to get as accurately as possible for you guys.

Big name wise, only Vidal is likely now. There are talks of Cavani as well but I won't get excited over this at this point in time. Papers still linking you guys to Di Maria which I am pretty sure he is PSG bound.

Big clubs like Man U will sure to have lots of players linked. Jornos need to sell papers and rumours involving big clubs with huge following will certainly help in generating sales.

Ya. That was a pretty poor take by his standard lol.

Borini very likely will go. I believe he is dragging a bit as he is hoping to return to Italy.

Feeling a bit wasted for him. BR wants him for his possession play but only for him to change his strategy to focus on pace on fast transition and counter. Still rate him as a striker but he won't get much chance with our current style of play.

Good shoulder knock :D

Is his fearlessness that I like. He doesn't seem to be overly concern about status and reputation. On the pitch, he doesn't care who he faces and just bosses the encounters.

I am calling it now. Can is the best buy for Pool this summer, in terms of cost and quality. Of the new signings, I see him and Lovren possibly starting the first game against Southampton. The rest will possibly need more time to gel.
