Jordan Mutch is having a medical at QPR having had a £6 million bid accepted by Cardiff.

Another underrated player imo.

as much as i agree that nobody owes each other a living much less loyalty,

i dont see where pool asked for kuyt's loyalty? so I dont see any irony here.

the only thing i see, is that kuyt deserves a lot of respect.

Not just kyut la.

Just think abt how SOME fans/Clubs will condemn players that forces a move citing their lack of integrity for not seeing out their contract yet they fail to see the irony of forcing A player that doesn't want to leave just because the club dont want them anymore.

Jack Rodwell has signed his Sunderland contract. 5-year deal. £10m fee.

Let's hope he can kick start his career at Sunderland.

Just been told Man Utd had a €32m bid for Cuadrado rejected. They have increased the bid to €38m and waiting for Fiorentina's answer

Liverpool tapped José Calléjon of Napoli, last night. Enquiry was rejected.

Calléjon is another speedster, wing forward.

Barcelona are interested but yet to make a move. Alves still no taker.

like i said, i dont disagree that there are instances where there appears to be a lack of loyalty from both club and/or player. i am just pointing out that a poor example was made, of pool and kuyt.

to me, a player forcing a move, by refusing to train/play or other unprofessional means, shows poor form. on the other hand, a club that wants to sell a player doesn't, because they continue to honour the contract, by paying the player's wages.

anyway, football is in a strange place today, much like the current employment situation in Singapore. the loyalty of an employee, is no longer as rated. Which to me, is a very very sad regression. i blame the money men, but to many others, its called progress.

ok, too much OT. back to the stuff that the money men pay me to do. :D

alves still a class act. would be great for pool.

Yes he is but at 31 and high wage, I would be very surprised if we go for him now. Not in line with FSG moneyball and we still have GJ holding on huge pay check.

Rafa tried signing him in 08 I think but didn't get the backing from cowboys.

Like some bros here said, nowadays clubs are being run like a corporation. Profit comes first. If someone seems like a liability rather than asset, then off he goes if the price is right. Gone were the days where players are willing to play for the club for passion alone and not for money. It's how things are being done now, have to face it as it is….

Vermaelen is off from what I am hearing. Barcelona or Man Utd apparently.

Ok, looks like it is Barcelona.

Agger will be disappointed.

nowadays, full back needs to chiong up and chiong down, I think that they are peaked around 28 yr old. After that decline in performance is inevitable, just like pool's GJ [lipsrsealed]

Barcelona have almost ruled out signing Fiorentina right wing player Juan Cuadrado (26) because the asking price is very high. [ser]

If true will be good news to Man U.
