Balance for your downpayment after subtracting the $10,700 deposit and whatever money you'll be getting back from your old car if you trade-in your car with them.

Dear all M5 folks, I had been driving mine for a week. Finding the istop function super annoying. Can anyone share your tactic to prevent istop coming without using the istop button?

Thanks bro. ..did you change yours?

No. I am not into ICE much... X2750 still serving me ok for now.

Hahaha...it supposed to help you to save fuel....

The straightforward method is disabled it everytime you started the engine...

Actually, base on my findings, whenever the istop lighted up in solid state. The istop will be activated when u full depress the brake. If u don't want it to activate, just lightly depress the brake and hold it there. When depress lightly, u should see the LED flashing. However, It appeared to me this method don't work during the beginning of the day, maybe it require some time to warm up or it require time to charge up the istop. Maybe m5 folks can try and share your experience too. Cheers

By the way, can anyone share your grooming applicator used in your M5 ride? I noticed it was polished or waxed earlier. Uncertain whether TE using normal waxing or brought my ride for detailing before I collect my ride. Any folks can also share your knowledge? Cheers

Hi Everyone,

Just checking if there is any other kind of alarm other than the blinking light in dash when you forget to put on driver's sit belt?

On M5, it just blinks and there is no alarm or any beeping sounds to remind me.

Is it just mine?

Hi Antant77, yes I also found it very annoying when I drove for the first few weeks, because it would only cut out the engine for 2-3secs at a time, which to me is more fuel wasting than fuel saving. I realised that by increasing the preset aircon temp from 22 to 24 degrees, the engine would cut out a lot longer, like 10-15secs. I also do not use the Auto climate function which blows the fan at a higher speed, I just use the dial on the right hand side to manually set the fan speed to 2-3 bars which is good enough for me. Hope this helps, and enjoy your new ride!

No, and I'm glad it doesn't do that...my previous ride had it and it was so annoying. Anyway putting on seatbelt should be automatic before you start engine, didn't your driving instructor teach you that? Always check before driving off, safety first...

Hey guys, just did my 1km servicing and was told I shouldn't go past 100km/h till 10,000km later for the good of my engine. He's kidding right?

Also mentioned I should keep Aircon at max 23-24. Is that true too?

I asked him to make my brake more sensitive and he said it can't be done. Really? I thought someone here did it before?
