Haha... I already give up the idea of shades but went to tint up another layer to my windows instead.

Looks nicer and cooler, without the hassle of checking blindspots difficulties.

I tinted at infratint too..but wife wanted laser shades too..double protection I guess

Bro you tinted another layer can pass the LTA requirement? I thought of tinting another layer too but might not pass LTA.

yes I have installed it last year. mine is version 1. this is plug n play. if u like power, this is for u. fast shifting gear, better engine response. not good at FC although it claims it improve.

For mazda 5 n non turbo car we can have plug n play chip like rs chip n pro racing chip available in sg. now rs chip got version 2 which can control by hp app. can adjust in diiferent mode racing. normal. eco mode

if not need to go for Uni chip . e management n other tuning opinion which need specific tune or flush ur ecu.

Thanks for the advice bro. Where did you install the RS Chip? How much you paid for it?

I installed my rs chip in malaysia I think around 1500 rm. that time sold sgd 680 in sg.

I think now version is sgd 480. version 2 is sgd 780. pro racing sgd 400 n above.

I tint another layer but left the front windscreen alone.

Yeap still fail LTA, but doesn't matter as I do not need to drive during office hours often.

Hi bro.. How much u bought for the RS chip and where u bought? My ride just above 1k, when is the right time to install the chip? I felt the car engine not eager to rev up after slow down or slow to pick up.

I bought mine 1500 rm a year ago..now I think can get version 1 at 480 n version 2 for 780 include installation. Just get it when u like better engine response n aggressive gear shifting...but don't complaint on FC ok...haha..

Haha.. Now I already complaint about my FC.. Managed to get only ave 10.9 km/l on my 2nd top up. Shall wait till 10k mileage then consider I guess.

10.9km/l is already very good.

Im averaging around 10+km/l most of the time. Hitting 11km/l once in a blue moon

Hi bro, is the torque gained obvious after installing the RS Chip? Thanks.

Hi bro, is the torque gained obvious after installing the RS Chip? Thanks.

tell u the truth, I really forgot how normal mazda 5 engine torque like.too long liao...

it is noticeable different if I remember correctly...

I think custom tune or re flash ecu might get most of the torque. If anyone here got their mazda 5 custom tune let us know...then we can have another option

To me, this rs chip is plug n play, easy install can hide inside, can go back agent service..perfect for me.

wow, thats seems to be a bit bad.. Pls dont trust the display.. My display 9.1l/100km for 3 years not much change except one time 8.9l/100km .are you heavily footed? mine is non-skyactive..

Base on petrol top up and meter calculation Tamp to Jurong thru MCE/KPE 10-11km/litre..

My M5 reached 9.1 L/ 100km. Is it bad FC? Drove two weeks and two refills. Puggoal to Jurong via KPE/ MCE.

Seemed like so much can b done to an engine; technology limitation for naturally aspirated. From carburetor to efi, mpi, vvt, gdi n skyactive. Looks like diesel, hybrid or full electric much better.

same same, my m5 also show 9.1L/100km. and I am happy with this. at this FC, a full tank cost $78 after discount for R-95 petrol at Esso can drive 510km before next low level light comes on. for a 2 Litre car, this FC ok mah, no?

Well, I cannot tell whether I am heavy footed person. However, compare to my ex-caren. M5 can reach 200 more than caren. I Happy and save a lot for the last two refills
