Sdf4786k Twincharged July 2, 2014 Share July 2, 2014 Saw the Renault Clio RS. Seems quite good specs except a bit small for the boot as well as the rear leg room. Anyone knows whats the Early bird prices like ? ↡ Advertisement
Kangadrool Supersonic July 2, 2014 Share July 2, 2014 (edited) Remember seeing somewhere...... around $140K. Looks attractive for RS. There's a management car already in W few months back and seen some people test-driving it. Don't know why they officially launch so late. Uses Nissan Juke engine iirc. Saw the Renault Clio RS. Seems quite good specs except a bit small for the boot as well as the rear leg room. Anyone knows whats the Early bird prices like ? Sdf4786k Twincharged July 11, 2014 Author Share July 11, 2014 Road tax would be higher then . Juke is 1618CC . Wonder hows the reliability like. if 140K, COE 65K, seems quite competitive to Polo R. But spare parts and servicing is it expensive ?

SGCMWhiteKnight 2nd Gear July 30, 2014 Share July 30, 2014 "Well, it's French and things sometimes will go wrong." These are always the considerations if going for a conti car, whereas Jap cars, there are tones of backup spares and workshops. If you can find a good workshop and reliable workshop that knows the car, then ok, its worth considering.
Kangadrool Supersonic July 30, 2014 Share July 30, 2014 After 2008, most Renaults are fairly reliable. No fear. The Clio is also using Nissan Joke's engine.
Sdf4786k Twincharged July 31, 2014 Author Share July 31, 2014 If you can afford to buy such a car....you worry about its parts and maintenance.......wow 140K is in the region of Corolla Altis. So every car is about that price range . Not sure whats the wow is all about. 140k is not a big sum. But if u look at it from a recurring cost, it will add up. Hopefully the twin clutch like the VW twin clutch dont uplorry. Then it would be really wow...
