Wt_know Hypersonic August 19, 2014 Share August 19, 2014 (edited) who don't want to upgrade from HDB to EC and make $500K that's why agent can sell EC easily. simply throw you this story. it's true because i also know someone did that. but ... not 100% risk free hor ... do you own maths the keyword here is last time ... last time EC is sibei cheap ... now all close to $1M ! bishan HDB better ... last time buy $350k-$400k now sell $1M ... The reasons why I am looking to upgrade since last year is because my friends who bought EC last time made ~$500K after 5 years, they sold their EC and bought a resale HDB back, they are debt free now. I am told that the EC price is still cheaper than private and after 5 years becoming private, it will appreciate.
