I think we don't have problem toasting these 2 commonly encountered vehicles with the Matador

Our friendly neighbour up north currently has a grand total of 48 MBTs and 26 Light Tanks.

We have ~200 MBTs.. not alot, just a 4:1 ratio.. nothing much.. ^_^

M16S1 with attached scope. Moet of the SS will usually keep the scope in the fullpack for prolonged exercise, coastal training and those exercises that are longer than 2 days as it is a rather sensitive piece of equipment. The 1206 is also a killer that they do not want to pay!

i still prefer the m16 eventhough its just a 5.56mm compare to the ak 7.62. M16 is more accurate at a longer distant.

sakali accidently grope the lau encik.....mati!

Deja vu, you repeat what I said..LOL

Anyway the AK47 is obsolete liao and besides terrorists and rogue armies not many people use.

Most already switched to AK74, which look similar but fires a smaller 5.45mm rounds which performs as good as the 5.56mm rounds used by NATO.

So it's basically a lighter and more effective AK47. The Russians and it's allied states are using it.

In fact Goldbug's pic, the ladies and holding AK74!

My CSM told us he use a AR15 before switching to M16. so i believe SAF do use AR15 before.

In fact, he is the one that told us one of the diff b/w the 15 and the 16 is the forward assist which i still remember till today.

My time in mid 2000s, Tekong REC still using AR15. Not sure whether they switch to SAR-21 already or not..

I do like the AR-15/M-16 because it's longer, senang diri position, the butt of the rifle can touch the ground. And AR-15/M-16 still look more sakti in drills.

M16 from butt to foresight too long lar.... [sweatdrop]

Difficult to conceal... [grin]

HK MP5 better, can conceal under jacket although the max range is 250 meters.. ^_^

But MP5 is a submachine gun.. not as effective as Assault Rifle during non-FIBUA combat..

i always wonder if such big tanks are practical for dense tropical forests?? They may look stylo milo / fierce charging around in open fields / deserts, but in the tropics?? [sweatdrop] [sweatdrop]

Yes..... M16 is not suitable for SG type of war-fare, too many housing blocks & trees and not much open field to kill enemy from a distant of 400 meters...

M16 has to hold down by both hands & take aim in order to maximise its fire power. It cannot shoot from hip level unless doing a swipe from left to right... [grin]

Come ... I show you ...

One thing for sure is, they do scare the hell out of infantry soldiers when doing FIBUA.. especially when carrying the correct armour to protect against RPGs.
