Car export/scrap value

Hi, I have a 523i due for scrap in a few months time. Hence I would like to get a gauge of what to expect

Add a few hundred dollars for the body a scrap dealer will give to you for the metal.

 

Alternatively, you can trade in your old car for a new car. Some new AD give overtrade which will maximize the value of your present car, in lieu of discount. E.g Scrap value of car is $20k. Dealer offers to take your car at $50k if you buy their new luxury car.

If your car mileage is normal ie more than 100k, my guess would be 1k max 1.5k for the body.

why scrap? have u tried to see if any dealer can help export? unless of course the car is spolit beyond repair

Search for businesses that buy scrap cars, you can try propel auto as well. Just like when buying, selling also good to "shop" around to find the best offer. I've seen ads on SGCARMART claiming up to 3k for scrap when buying their cars, which I doubt, should be $1800 to $2500 depending on the condition of your ride.
