I had Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 done quite immediately after collection in November last year.

While it is no longer available now, the professional version, Opti-Guard is still available.

The reason of my choice is the result of my "research" - protection without the need for scheduled follow-up maintenance.

Also, there must be a family of products for me to do my own "maintenance".

Optimum Car Wash.

Optimum Car Wax - All exterior excluding tyres. Very easy to use, spray and wipe. More importantly, a single product for body panels, glass and trims ! Properly done, can last at least a month.

Optimum Leather Vinyl Protect - All interior.

Optimum Opti Clean - for between washes and stains after removing bird poo.

That said, while the coating is tough, it still cannot totally prevent stone chips - however, they are less devastating.

IIRC, I think I paid $200. Definitely worth every $. Mine is silver. After "maintenance", looks a bit white from afar.

P.S. Some bird poo after removal will still leave a stain. With Opti-Coat, the stain will really evaporate and disappear under the sun !

The car comes coated with pps already with 2 additional service within 2 years. They will also do dent repair within a specified limit for 5 dents and surface scratch for 1st year.

Your SE will brief you on delivery of the car and provide you with the pps, dent and scratch warranty booklet. Check their website. I think Toyota was the 1st to introduce it in Singapore.

In my opinion, wait after after the 2 years to redo your pps, probably on the 3rd year.

Anyone thought of installing a e-throttle control to improve acceleration?

Isn't tha acceleration good enough?

Yo bro, Qoo10 selling good price I think, but warranty in Korea.

Local supplier with warranty will be a better choice if the set have issue, am lucky.

For constant power, heard either power magic pro or cellink B.

Cheers.

I transferred my blackvue500 from my previous ride to my altis. Bought a power magic pro from them as the old one spolit. So far so good. I go to the shop at Geylang. Go www.blackvue.com.sg to find out their location.

As altis fusebox is located on the left hand side, they will install your power magic pro from the left and do the wiring from the left to the camera.

How come so terrible?

I am not strong footer, never exceed 80km/h for expressway driving.

Have Garmin before. But the HU navi screen do not have a red cross at the left botton to stop.

Guess the new Toyota Pioneer HU is different interface. The HU manual never mention about stop routing.
