forester2016 1st Gear March 12, 2016 Share March 12, 2016 Finally took the plunge and ordered a 2.0 NA Dark Grey. Consideration was my wife would be driving the car most of the time and her right leg has no control and my NCB was at risk. Also our knees are giving way so we need a higher sitting car but most important of all is that I think my dogs would love the car. Got my COE this round for NA. Booked after CNY during 38K. going japan soon anything good to buy from there? Send me the poison links.
4orester 1st Gear March 12, 2016 Share March 12, 2016 Tot u collected your car? Still going for test driveI meant I test drove NA version but never thought about trying the XT version. Hence point 2 doesn't apply to me. Speaking of collection, my agent still yet to provide update of new ride date. Finally took the plunge and ordered a 2.0 NA Dark Grey. Anyone can enlighten me on how does us when we scrap the vehicle after 10yr You will only get back PARF rebate for car within 10 years old at the time of de-registration. In other word, car scrap after 10 years old get zero PARF rebate. One motoring or LTA website provide very detailed calculation of PARF rebate & COE rebate if you would scrap your car

If it surcharge mean we are getting more worth it in a way that since after scrap will get 50% of that cevs? I meant I test drove NA version but never thought about trying the XT version. khsh Neutral Newbie March 12, 2016 Share March 12, 2016 For those whom booked and getting car Apr/May and at the same time trading in your existing car, do you guys sign something in black and white to "fix" the trade in value?I traded in my car w the agent (thru MI) and locked at a price based on a 1 to 1 exchange. My car has less than 2 years to go and this will help me to secure the car value before it depreciates further coz i heard once it is left with 17-18months, it will mainly be just paper value.. Pocus Turbocharged March 12, 2016 Share March 12, 2016 FXT have 5k surcharge but not NA right? The price all factor in already. Scrap no difference. Only those with rebate will be effected. Enjoy now suffer later. That's why I feel CEVS is a fake sweetener.

But they will take back the 50% discount instead. And AD/PI will definitely charge you for the surcharge but may not pass the full discount to you. Damn stoopiak! ↡ Advertisement
