Hi guys usually how long after registration will u get ur car?

Depends on stock availability. If got stock (which I understand is most of the time) then you get it within 2 weeks or shorter. Normally when there is no stock, it is usually because of a certain colour selection. Unlikely that the AD run out vehicles for all colours.

Anyone can share how is the servicing procedure? For my current ride, normally c&c take the car in the morning and they return back the same day (heard some people complain about 1-2 day servicing at Peugeot). Is breakdown is frequent and servicing is expensive?

Trying to make decision if i should buy this or Continental.

Anyone can share how is their experience so far? I am leaning towards FORESTER 2.0XT.

TY in advance.

normal servicing takes about 2-3 hours to half day at most, depending on queue. Servicing is normally quite fast and no frills. don't expect Mercs level of customer service. But the service there are quite nice actually (TPY branch).

So far, my FXT is around 6 months old, 13k+ km mileage. No issues so far. It a simple step and go car.  [laugh]

There seems to be quite a number of alternatives to the FXT. I was looking at the new Tiguan that time, but it wasn't out when i bought mine. the kia carens 1.7L diesel also quite value for money.  You may wanna consider other models besides FXT coz depending on your driving habits and traffic conditions, this car is not a fuel saver  [:p]

I am going for my 3rd servicing soon (10K).

Is there anything I should take note of?

Will they sell me some servicing package? Good to take up?

[;)]

2 years (2 minor and 2 major) package is around $1.2k-1.3k. can't recall it includes free tyre rotation for every servicing. Free 1 set of brakes and 1 time battery replacement. u can use DUO points to offset to get a lower price. additional costs may include top up for motul engine oil if u choose it during your servicing which comes at $70+. Oh ya, for the tpy branch they wun sell u the package when u go for 10k. u got to ask for it... hmm.. strange that they not pushy.. haa

TY mate, I have almost made up my mind after looking at few other options (going to get XT)

Will i be able to make it with 8 BIDS NON Guaranteed COE? They are giving 1000$ discount if i go with that option.

Those of you that changed to MIRT or motul oil, is your service reminder windscreen sticker still the shell helix one? I changed to MIRT oil but they still gave me the shell helix sticker with the "shell helix ultra" box ticked. Just wondering if it's the standard practice cause they don't have other stickers or did they not change my oil at all?

bro, if you read or dig harder in this thread, a few had mentioned no need for Guarantee. But its still depend on yourself whether u wanna take this risk or how hard up u r for this ride

I sign this May with 8 bids ng Coe and got it on first bid. But I bought ex stock coz happened to have the colour I like in stock. So after Coe I got the car in a few days.

I took the motul 300v and they gave me the motul sticker indicating motul 300v.

U can check your receipt. It should indicate an additional charge of around $17 for mirt oil.

Thanks. Yep I was billed for the MIRT and even paid for the engine flush to remove all traces of shell helix... Now I have a feeling they put in shell helix again hahaha. Can those that changed to MIRT help to verify if they have the MIRT sticker or still use the shell helix sticker?
