When I did my 1K on week day, Booked 08:30. Reach TPY MI at 8am. only go back to MI and collect car about 2pm.

Just did my 5K 2 weeks ago, book 8am. reach 7:30am . wait there and collected at 11:30am.

Both service I request for "NO CAR WASH." because it will cause another 30min waiting.

actually the car go thru many steps.

1. Pre Service Check. (Don't take long)

2. Park there and wait for next station, which is servicing. wait and wait and wait........

3. Servicing , Changing engine oil, oil filter, blow clean air intake filter, etc.....

4. wait wait wait ...... for Quality Control......

5. QC Check (Don't take long)

6. Wait wait wait....... for someone to drive your car out for collection..

7. You See your car!!!

8. You alert the service reception. Then he say, "OK! your car is ready!"

9. Payment... or FOC service and sign the invoice.

10. Drive your car home.

If you leave your Car camera on and later check it, you will see the above mention. hahahaha!

Have Fun waiting and enjoy your in-car camera video of the servicing steps!

Happy New Year!

Do they change engine oil at 1K servicing?

I collected FXT last week.

I realize that the front tyres seems to be a little less pressure to me.

However, when I tried to pump air at the kiosk, the reading took was 2.5 bar.

Does the fellow owners also feel that the tyre is a little flat but actually fine? Or is it just me with some judgement errors?

By the way, I saw it on a sticker at the door area that reads 2.2 bar or 2.3 bar only. How come the stock tyres are set at 2.5 bar? Should I release the air or do anything to the tyre pressure?

Hope some brothers can advise me on that.

Also say my tyres are 2.5 bar current, if I tried to pump air (set at 2.3 bar), will the air pump system at kiosk release the pressure off to 2.3 bar or it will just stop there without any action?

Same Same Brother, so most of the non-G order is out-bid. Any bother got their COE?

Me too. I was outbid by $6. So I am not the only one. I booked mine at$119888. Trade in 8yrs old Impreza at $19k which I felt is too low. If after 6 bids, still can't get, I will continue with my Impreza.

Use the recommended pressure.  Major difference to the ride.

So your is XT right, seem like quite afew people never get their COE this round. Price of car will go up as COE went up. What do all brother think the demand of the car in coming week with the car show, will demand go up? Price of car will go up, so not sure demand will be strong in coming car show, as it will be too late for people who want their car for CNY.

Yes my order is for XT. I reckon that perhaps the next round will go up perhaps due to the motor show. But Coe cannot keep going up as the economy is really quite bad. If it really cannot make it by 6 bids, I think I will just give up and stick to my current car

Dear all brothers

I found this information that might be useful to all. This is taken from http://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyres/passenger/care/pressure.aspx

Contrary to popular belief, tyre pressure is not determined by the type of tyre or its size but

upon your vehicle's load and driving application i.e. speed

To find out what your car's tyre pressure should be, consult the manufacturers tyre placard usually found inside the driver's door sill, glove box, fuel filler cap or under the bonnet.

The placard also displays the manufacturers recommended tyre sizes.

Tyre pressures should be checked when the tyre is 'cold', as pressure increases as the tyre becomes 'hot'.

Take the "cold" reading and check them against the recommended tyre pressures from your placard.

Heavy loads or towing puts an extra strain on your tyres. So if your vehicle is fully loaded with passengers and luggage, the general rule is to add 28kpa (4PSI or 4lbs).

At high speed, (defined as driving at 120km/h for over one hour), your tyres will wear out twice as fast as when you drive at 70-80 km/h. If your tyres are under-inflated by twenty per cent tyre life can be reduced by thirty per cent. The rule here is to add 28Kpa (4PSI) from your Minimum Compliance Plate Pressure. Don't inflate your tyres above 40 psi or 280 kPa. When the tyres get hot from driving, the pressure will increase even more.

Believe it or not, checking your tyre pressure can have a big impact on our environment. An under-inflated tyre creates more rolling resistance and therefore more fuel consumption. By keeping your tyres inflated to their proper levels, you can help maximise your car's fuel economy and minimise its impact on our environment.

Managed to get it. Gteed bid package.

Congra, brother, the rest of us still need to wait. Seem quite a number of people book the Forester during the 46K COE, this forum alone seem around 10 people talking about their booking here. Conclusion most G-bid and XT booking got their car, 1-2 non-G got their car too. Half of them including me still have to wait longer [confused]

Heard that Subaru has increased prices by 3k. FXT is now $130,800.

However, they've got a Motor Show promo now that includes free GPS and 1 year servicing.

How much do those items cost?

The GPS cost $1.5k.

I tot there is some issue (cannot detected position) with the inbuilt GPS as claimed by MI, which is why it drop the GPS option.

As long as getting it eventually will be fine. Don't worry ba. Unless you're in a rush for the new car.

Haha, no rush, my car till end of feb, going on holiday till 1st week of march, so 1st week of march is the best time to get my car, haha, if they successfully bid for me [:p]

There will be a 2017 facelife for the Forester right, read from the internet that some country already start selling, e.g Taiwan and Europe, anyone know it coming to Singapore?

Agree with you.

Patience is the key as quoted by Patience.

It could be a blessing since COE for Cat B is inching up bit by bit.

There is a possibility that you will get a higher COE. [thumbsup]
