Alvinnoob 1st Gear December 27, 2016 Share December 27, 2016 Try to reach cruising speed fast and maintain it. Fc will be good. This car don't like start stop traffic. I got 500km per 50L before in stop start traffic. 5w30 may not necessary help in improving fc. Quality of engine oil is important as well. Shell helix makes the car feel sluggish... cruising speed is 90? ↡ Advertisement
Shox87 4th Gear December 28, 2016 Share December 28, 2016 All depends on what the driver want. I originally planning on Harrier base on look, but after test driving the FXT, there is no return. I know performance is more important to me. Q5 is a completely different class, the price us at least $100k more than FXT. I don't think those target thus car will even take a look at FXT. These group of people will look at X3, XC60, Range Rover etc.. Yes. I concur with you. Performance-wise in the same bracket, no other models come near to the FXT. Just like you, my initial choice was the Harrier Premium or the Gs package, but test-drove my relative's car, the car struggled to pick up speed on the expressway. The last time i checked the Q5 2.0 w/o S-Line package, it was 174k. Moving forward, I am a proud owner of the FXT and enjoying every moment with its commanding height and presence on the road.

Think 7.2 is the current trip and the 9.4 is the average of the current tank of fuel.
therock Supersonic December 28, 2016 Share December 28, 2016 The most accurate way is to write down the fuel pumped and the distance travelled when you next visit the petrol station, cheers.

Shox87 4th Gear December 28, 2016 Share December 28, 2016 Have travelled around 700km so far. Getting 510km per tank. Around 10km/L. Still have yet to do the 1st servicing. Which is still reasonable given the sheer size/power of the car.

I normally drive in the S mode.

Fteocs 2nd Gear December 28, 2016 Share December 28, 2016 Driving FXT for 4 month plus, FC not as great as some posted....use helix 5w30 pump esso98, best FC is 10.2litre per 100km. Notice something recently....not sure anyone aware or I blur. Recently switch the cabin light to door, meaning when door open it will light up.....notice a few times it seems the light didn't off....only to notice it will light up when walk pass or near the door handle of either front door.....turn off in about 30 Sec if walk away.....
