I asked before during the workshop and the fellow said up to wheel height... where's the air intake btw? Is it the piece under the bonnet that feeds into the intercooler?

I don't think it's the one to inter cooler. 0.6 is not bad. As most car is 0.5.

See the bottom left, the air intake pipe feeding cool air to the air filter box on the left.

Three days ago went for my 2nd free servicing for my xt and opted for Motul 300 oil. Was given the 40W type and paid $75.15. Found that the car now has quicker response to acceleration input and also accelerates faster.

Car temperature seems on average to be same as before ( during Shell Helix oil use) so overall it's an acceptable trade-off to pay for a slight but noticeable improvement to the ride's power department

Try the higher revs 4k and beyond. That's where the fun starts. 300v is addictive and affordable at MI. Worth the too up. I'm at 9k plus and it's still going strong. Still feels like brand new oil. Have checked the temperature, hivers between 93-95. Max around 100. Very stable Will use back for my 20k servicing next month.

Oh ya lastly fc is very good with 98 petrol.

98 price unfortunately is almost $0.50 per litre more than 95.. if FC is about economics.. then the delta b/w a 98 n a 95 must be more than 3km/l..

I'm not too concern about price difference between 95 and 98. I'm getting 12 to 12.5km/L with either esso 98 or shell 98 with 80% hw driving. This includes frequent waiting times up to 20-30 mins per stretch. I know its ridiculous and unbelievable but ya thats my fc for the past 9k km plus while using 300v. Edited by mrhan1982

Good for you. At best my 2.5 could only get 11.5km/ l on 95. 70% highway. The $20 savings per week is helpful for ..at least that's what my accountant say so..faintz.. Edited by BenTong

Dam solid numbers, who says subaru is jiak you car.. lolz

I cant reach that number (max 10km/l on 75% highway) though which i suspect its also partly due to me using 5w40. Gg to ask them to use 5w30 on my xt as per manual on my next servicing.
