Hi, has anyone replaced the HUD? Iâm plann Ng to replace mine with one that is android auto compatible. Any recommendations and will it void the warranty from Komoco?

I think you mean HU right? HU = headunit, HUD = heads-up unit...

Woah... that sounds bad... maybe you're quite heavy footed eh? Or maybe the turbo surge is too addictive... ha ha ha...

What kind of traffic do you travel in? Heavy cars don't like start-stop traffic.

I dont own a Tuscan, but I also drive a 1.6 turbo.

My FC fluctuates between 9-10 km/l, mostly nearer to the 9km/l region.

You'll get used to it after a while, and notice that be it hard driving or grandma driving, the FC doesn't deviate much for the same route.  [laugh]

Just enjoy the drive.  [thumbsup]

Actually my car does make some difference... over a longer period then there's some difference in cost of fuel... I drive a 2.0 L Sonata... I drive 38 km a day to and from work... 50% highway, 50% arterial & neighborhood roads. School rush hour in the morning (24 km), usual afternoon traffic before 5 pm (14 km)... different routes... the forward journey has more highway driving... I get about 11.0-11.5 km/L if I drive normally, keeping RPM below 4000... more start stop traffic will cause fuel consumption to drop to about 10.5-10.8 km/L...

For me, I always get stuck in the slow traffic from balestier going towards PIE, which is why my FC is so bad.

But one thing I noticed about my car is for a given distance, there is no difference in FC between slowly accelerating to 70 vs pushing beyond 3k rpm for the turbo to kick in, then let go of the throttle. Sometimes the harder acceleration is more efficient over a distance. Maybe because mine is a CVT.

Hi, I am looking for a SUV mainly for daily commute and also family trip during weekends. Now I really cannot decide between Nissan X-trail and Tucson. Based on my test drive, seems Tucson has much larger road noise and engine noise. Had anyone here drive both model before and give some advice? Thanks!
